Buck's so adorable to start. My big dog would also be mad if he suddenly couldn't get up on the sofa, where he can spread as much as possible of himself all over me, when he's certainly not a lapdog. This show is just great. Like you said, the conversations they have are so important. Conversations in relationships, especially in regards to sex in this one and consent, conversations between parents and children, conversations between therapists and their patients, conversations between friends. I love it all. Everyone is so supportive. I also thought Charlie's Mum wasn't completely out of line for what she said. Charlie is quite dismissive of opinions he doesn't agree with. I love him, don't get me wrong and I understand he doesn't want to be seen as fragile, I just wish he could see that he isn't at all. I actually agree with Nick and think he's more fragile (I'm glad Charlie listened to what he had to say at the end of the episode). Poor Nick needs to find himself outside of Charlie a bit for sure. And there's nothing wrong with that. I love them so much, though - so cute together and respectful of the others thoughts and feelings. Tao is easily one of my favourite characters. Yes, he has abandonment issues, but it's so nice to see him develop and grow. And he's so good for Elle. I love him. And he is a top friend too imo. And yes, break my heart with that little snippet of baby Farouk. Instant teary eyes. How on earth does this show do that?! Never happened to me before.

2025-02-21 07:14:36 +0000 UTCSo, in Harry Potter, during his final year at Hogwarts, Percy (Ron's very strict, no-nonsense, boring older brother) was head boy (I believe it was the 3rd year for Harry, Ron, and Hermione) and he loved to remind people about it ("Put that away! I'm head boy!"). I love that Mr. Ajayi and Mr. Farouk are being so supportive of Charlie and that they have faith in his ability to be head boy ❤️❤️❤️ Yeah, the Charlie-Nick relationship is a very Charlie-focused relationship. Charlie can be quite a brat, especially to his mom. She didn't even say no, just to wait until after their exams. Charlie gets so wrapped up in being with Nick, that he just neglects everything else, so I get where his mom is coming from. He clearly misconstrues everything that she says and is easily offended by those misunderstandings of his. I give him some leeway due to him being 16, but he definitely doesn't even try to see things from his mom's perspective. Having said that, it was nice seeing him support Nick more in this episode. Tao's just being there for Elle, as well as that adorable video, is just too precious ❤️❤️❤️

Mr Farouk thinking about his younger self when saying it'd inspire lots of young kids to see Charlie being headboy 🥹 I love his character. I love all these characters so much and how sweet they are and how they communicate. Idk what I'll do when the show and books end 😭 This show makes me so emotional anyways but when I see people cry it makes me cry lol so whenever your eyes start welling up it sets me off too haha. Also your dog is so cute, I love seeing his adorable squishy face 🥰
