But at least they shouldn't get mad in the end because they didn't get to go and meet the group when it's because they said no. Also I was right there with you when they were at the restaurant and had trouble saying what was bothering them. It's better to just say it anyway than end up having money issues because of it.

2025-01-05 00:41:11 +0000 UTCI’m that friend that can’t go anywhere expensive. I’m severely disabled so I physically can’t make money for myself. I do feel embarrassed about it a lot of the times but I’m always open about it because instead of saying no without an excuse, I can tell them I just can’t afford it today but can we make plans to hang out together this day? But yeah maybe people with money don’t realize other people are struggling.

But I get where they were coming from. I can relate but with family instead of friends. Also, maybe it's a thing people do in the US but it's crazy to me that instead of everyone just paying for what they ordered, they pay equally even though some people got a steak and others got a salad?! Btw, $28 in 1995 is equivalent to about $58 today. Fun fact: In the ending scene, Matt LeBlanc was supposed to grab the phone and say "Bob here!" when Jade called, but he missed and fell and they decided to keep it in 😂

2025-01-04 08:26:05 +0000 UTCI also appreciate the realness of the storyline about the money issues, that's something most people have to deal with at some point within their friendships I think. But my favourite storyline was the Chandler AKA Bob thing. I laugh so much every time I watch it. Especially when the woman calls "Bob" and insults Chandler's love making skills. 😂😂
