I remember her misguided, fiery response to the girl who bullied May in s1 (at least, I think it was s1 lol). That was not cool of her, but that's why it didn't surprise me when she went after Amir. Very inline with how she reacts to her loved ones in peril.

But yeah, 911 showrunners, writers, and directors go for all our vital spots way too often. And, after all the stress they lay on us in this episode, that forker Gerard is back! For me, season 6 was ok, but season 7 made me fall in love with this show again ❤️❤️❤️
