2024-12-21 22:15:57 +0000 UTCWhen I say I love this episode when I watched it originally in hindsight, after everything I’ve been through this past year, I love it even more. I used this superhero pose and mentality through a recent test that I had been struggling with for years, and I finally defeated it. I passed and I’m now able to move on With my career. This show is relatable on so many levels. This was the first time that I realized Amelia is my absolute favorite character.

A character we grow to love with a seemingly terminal illness actually serving is a miracle by Grey’s standards. Sucks that she went blind but she had already resigned to dying so she’ll definitely take that as a positive. Also I would never forgive this show if they killed Geena Davis 😂 And yeah April’s actress had her baby. Sarah went into premature labor 12 hours after filming the episode where her and Jackson’s baby died. She spent a few weeks in the Nicu, which is why she was gone the last few episodes.

2024-12-12 14:57:43 +0000 UTCi’ve said it before and i’ll say it again; this show has the best relationships!! arizona and hermann’s mentorship turned friendship is so beautiful, hermann’s entire storyline is one of my favorites. amelia and stephanie are adorable too and it’s nice seeing more story for steph after all the avery stuff. and omg webber! that man has my entire heart i love him so bad, his fatherly relationship with bailey, meredith, amelia and all the residents like he’s just a good man. and it makes me even more mad ellis never told him about maggie because you knowww he would’ve been such a good father to her

He would have just screamed at her and called her stupid and crazy for even starting this and probably called her a murderer or something. I kind of like how unlikeable Derek did become though and that the teacher dating the student isn't glorified and romanticised anymore like in earlier seasons. It's a good thing that they show that these power dynamics can affect a relationship long term and it's something that didn't disapear just because she isn't his student anymore.

2024-12-12 12:45:11 +0000 UTCI was right there with you, like this surgery is so stressful but also Amelia is such a badass and I love her (I also love the superhero thing). I also love that they added a cost because it made sense. And Nicole looking on the bright side (no pun intended) and focusing on the fact that she's alive. Ugh. This episode was so intense and good. Can't wait for you to see what's next.

Nicole became my favourite side story during season 11 and I'm so glad she's happy to be alive and doesn't see her disability as a curse or anything negative especially since so many shows do and it really brings down people with disabilities (such as myself) so these episodes really mean a lot to me, would be better if the show wasn't endorsed or sponsored by autism speaks (ableist 'charity' focused on curing autism and viewing it as a disease) but you get the small victories here and there, can't wait for the next few reactions!!!
