I didn't know she could sing. 2) Tommy not even stopping to clean off or change clothes after fighting a fire all night because he was that determined to keep his promise to Buck. 3) Hungover Buck and Eddie was the absolute height of comedy--I really hope these two get more 'comedy duo' type scenes. 4) Hen's reaction to Buck coming out. About damn time indeed, Hen. Indeed.

Kenny filmed a video of himself lip-syncing to "Love is in the air" as a gift to Jennifer, and in return, she recorded her own version of "Islands in the Stream" (the song Chim and Maddie sang together way back in s2) and so of course they then decided to use that version at the wedding. And that kiss - fucking incredible. People give Tommy shit for not dressing up, and I am tired of him catching all the heat when only Buck and Eddie dressed up. So why always single him out? Not to mention the man was on standby. But he still showed up, for Buck. Just like he showed up at the hospital after being on shift for like 16 hours. He must have been so exhausted, but he still went because he knew it was important to Buck. <3 - Another lil fact, Dee Wallace's reaction to Bucktommy was genuine lmao. She was behind on the series and had no idea Buck got himself a boyfriend.

She said she recorded it for the episode as a wedding gift for her TV husband π it's also the song they sang together in Season 2, Episode 8 "Buck Actually". I just love Maddie and Chimney so much πππ

2024-11-24 15:10:05 +0000 UTCApparently there was a scene where Buck and Eddie did Karaoke together but it got cut from the episode. I wish we could have seen that. Also, I don't know if Travis knows, but Doug's actor and Jennifer Love Hewitt are married in real life. They met on another show (where they also played husband and wife) before 911 so when he first appeared as Doug in season 2, they were already married.

I donβt know if someone mentioned it but that cover of Islands in the Stream was sung by Jennifer Love Hewitt, which I thought was a beautiful touch! And of course drunk Buck & Eddie are hilarious β€οΈ
