Can you imagine the shock we would have had if it was just bam! Bullet in her non cancerous brain and then to have Alex walk up to him and get shot immediately after!? That would have been devastating.

Not to get too personal but its very easy to bring a gun to a hospital where I use to work we had someone shot to death on one of the hospital floors. (I won't say where due to privacy) but yeah its very scary.

I work in a hospital and I'm always terrified this would happen cause a few months ago one of our patients threatened to shoot up the hospital killing everyone then burn it down just cause they couldn't smoke a cigarette. 😰 They were kicked out and told to not come back I'm glad they haven't!!

Surprise, welcome to the most intense 2 part finale of the series! I will say, there are some parts about this episode that seems a bit weird (i.e. Mer + Yang moving even after they knew it was a shooter, but I suppose the writers wanted the "Grey watches Derek get shot" shot). That being said, Chandra Wilson (Bailey)'s performance is incredible, and I'd forgotten about how Lexie kind of has a love triangle, what with helping Alex with Sloan.
