The way the fans feel about Owen is the way I feel about Derek 😂 Christina is someone who thrives best by herself so I just don’t think a relationship suits her at all. It’s not that her taste in guys are bad it’s that a relationship is not her thing and that’s fine. Look at all the work that Meredith had to do for herself in order to be with Derek. Christina is the opposite of Meredith so I think if a relationship is a need for her my girl gotta go see that shrink and I don’t think it’s a need for her. My girl just wants to sleep with someone with no emotional attachment 🤣

I agree 100%, with Hütz, PTSD is a real everyday problem and these people end up homeless or addicted to drugs. It is really hard to find a therapist that has the training for it too

It reminds me of that episode before with that older couple and they had to unplug the wife and the hubby started doing cpr until Bailey took over and she couldn't stop and so Derek took over for her so he could be the one to kill her. 💯 to this post on Owen! He’s definitely not my favorite character by any means, but I’ve always appreciated him and the reality his flaws represent. Soldiers and people who endure that level of trauma have a difficult time behaving in the ways society finds acceptable. It’s hard for them. And hard for those who love them too, I get it. At the end of this episode, as soon as he learned Christina felt scared, he knew he had to go back for more help. That’s why I know Owen is innately good. Even if he’s hard to love.

I love Christina and Mer’s friendship but I LOVE Alex’s and Mer’s friendship, they are like an “unlikely” union, and at the same time you’re like, “They are soooo alike”. I know how you guys feel about Owen, but I love how flawed he is. I’ve been friends, co-workers, and classmates of Veterans, with visible injuries and mental scars, and I sort of get how messed up he is. To me, Owen feels very realistic. He is hurt and he needs time off and help, but he needs to take that step by himself. It's very hard for soldiers to come back to society. A lot of them become homeless, or addicted to drugs or go back for more tours. In a war zone, soldiers go through unimaginable horrors, what they see, and sometimes have to do. I dislike war so much because the price that we pay for peace and freedom is too high. I think we should put presidents in a dome to fight it out themselves lol

i LOVE alex and merediths friendship so much, she understands that he doesn't always like to talk whenever hes going through something and she is always by his side theyre my fav greys friendship along with another in the later seasons! :( also finding out how bad alex and his siblings had it when they were younger also makes me really appreciate alex and how far he has come as a character!! he is such a loving person when he actually lets his guard down

A thing I absolutely adore about this show is the writing of the characters and their development along with the relationships compared to the others. They’re all so well written and they have good arcs and character traits making them all(except Owen) likeable.
