2023-09-06 10:04:06 +0000 UTCI love this episode. Sarah Paulson gets that icy stare Ellis vibe down hard. I also love J. August Richards. I found this storyline deeply moving (they are good doctors) and very character illuminating (they are still cheaters and flawed human beings). This patient story always get me welling up even on rewatches. On a lighter side. The one small thing that bugs me about this episode is lazy retcon of Alex/Callie hookup. Is it in character for both? Sure! Would season 2 Alex rub it in George's face every day always? Also sure... He was still Evil Spawn in those days. So the 'cone of silence' excuse was very lame. We did not need to add more strings to that tangled-up hook-up map thank you very much.
