Not knowing he didn't speak French wasn't too weird to me. I did find it strange that a couple with such strong communication don't seem to have had a single mention, let alone discussion about Nick's dad before now.

Ahhhh I hate not knowing lol. But it's fun watching season 2 for the first time with Travis, finding things out at the same time he does. So I'll have to be patient. 😂

Ooh, I so want to tell you, but spoilers!

Another great episode, although I did have to skip the part with Charlie fainting. I can't deal with ED stuff like that personally. But I loved everything else. I've noticed Nick and Charlie getting more and more flirty in like a dirty way lol. Like in season 1 their flirting was very cutesy but in this season I feel there's a lot more there. Like the way that Nick bit his lip when looking at Charlie on top of the Eiffel Tower and the way Charlie was turned on by Nick speaking French and of course there was the whole hickey situation. I feel like them getting closer in an intimate way and exploring that might be a storyline going forward. Just getting that vibe. 👀 Tao and Elle are very cute, their kisses were adorable and it's about damn time lol. I look forward to seeing how their relationship develops throughout the season, especially with Elle going off to art school. And I hope that Tara and Darcy will be ok. I'm not sure why Darcy is so closed off and secretive but hopefully she has a good reason for it and she can find a way to admit her love for Tara. Because I fully believe she does love her back. 🤞💕

Tao is way too hard on himself (that feels very familiar to me 😭😭😭)! Does it feel weird to anyone else that Charlie was pretty much the last one to find out that Nick speaks French fluently? They have a beautiful relationship, but they're definitely fully there at this point (definitely took a step in the right direction in this episode, though). Charlie's struggles with food and his self-image breaks my heart every time I see it 😭😭😭Love how supportive Nick was and I also love seeing Mr. Ajayi and Mr. Farouk step up (Mr. Farouk is a softie on the inside 😊).Tao and Elle are just adorable! This show is always so charming while also dealing with a lot hot topic issues very well

I think this show does a beautiful job showing the complexities experienced by someone with disordered eating behavior, as well as the ideal way for someone who cares about that person to address it - and all while managing not to be "too heavy" or take over the plot or Charlie's whole character. Although body image related concerns can and often are associated with eating disorders, it's not always the case (Charlie never mentions body image when discussing his eating behaviors). This is because they typically are rooted in much deeper issues with self-esteem. Eating is a primary way that we care for ourselves and when our relationships with ourselves are damaged to the point that we don't feel worthy of love and care, controlling the way that we feed ourselves (and for some of us, seeing our body as the problem that we can try to "fix") can be a tangible way to express those complex inner feelings. I found aspects of Charlie to be relatable in Season 1 when we saw the way his relationship with Ben played out and how that impacted him, his tendency to blame himself and how he expressed feeling about himself to his sister. Then I immediately understood where it was going this season when Charlie first told Nick he'd eat at home and then told his parents he'd already eaten. Personally I feel very seen and represented by Charlie's struggles with mental health and it's just another reason I love this show and wish all adolescents would watch it ❤️

tao is one of my favesss!!! u can see his and charlie's friendship means a lot to him i just wish he wasnt always so hard on himself but i understand why,, he and elle are sooo wholesome and that kiss scene was just so perfect, im so glad they finally did it lmaooo. also the communication charlie and nick have with eachother is such a refreshing thing to see,, the conversation they have after charlie fainted is so important like communication is KEYYY!! seeing nick try and understand what charlie is going through and not push or make him feel pressured into telling him is just so special :( and also the scenes inside the louve really were filmed there! its so cool, gotta love that netflix budget loll
