If people enojoyed this episode watch Vanilla Sky with Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz. It's an old movie that's mostly forgotten but it's so good. What I mean is that this episode could've taken something from that movie.

I remember being clueless as to what was happening for most of it the first time too 😂 That Heaven is a Place on Earth song they play at the beginning and end really couldn't be more perfect, but I don't think it was the inspiration for the episode. I read that Charlie Brooker had wanted to make one about someone using technology to research the afterlife, and in the process he became inspired by the idea of nostalgia therapy. The episode was so positively received by viewers and critics when it came out and it won 2 emmys. USS Callister might be the only one that won more.
