So, Terry is pretty creepy, but that's because he never knew how to fully transition back to civilian life after his time in the military. He just doesn't know how to socialize with people. About Lafayette, in the books, he was the one who was murdered in that car! So, it was a surprise to everyone who read the books when he was still alive when this first aired! Just a fun little tidbit there
