He's got a lot of great qualities, but he can also be quite vain and too into appearances (his own and in others). But that's what's great about this show. There are no perfect characters in this show (especially Owen 🤣🤣🤣). They're all flawed, but good-natured people. Also, I can't say enough about the guest stars on this show, especially the ones that are involved in the emergency scenarios! That teenage boy, man, he broke my heart with that scene 😭😭😭! I love Carlos, but I'm glad that he was able to find out that he can't be everything for TK. I get why he was jealous, though

2023-05-27 16:25:48 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favorite episodes of Lonestar. I loved the Owen shenanigans and the Tommy stuff but I REALLY loved the Tarlos storyline the most. There was such a nuanced conversation about mental health and really emphasized the importance of boundaries in a relationship. Carlos cannot be TK'S PARTNER and SPONSOR and THERAPIST. TK needs someone who's been through the same stuff as him. There are just some things you can only know because of experience, sometimes you just need someone who understands.
