2023-05-17 15:47:05 +0000 UTCI think the main reason I am not as intrigued by this series is BECAUSE of my law enforcement background. I have been intrigued by criminal justice since I was in elementary school and really went balls to the wall in highschool doing all the junior police academy programs and continued into college where I majored in criminal justice and minored in psychology. Went directly into the academy after college and initially wanted to work toward a career into swat before I decided to work in the executive protection unit for a few years due to a large pay increase and the connections I made during that time. I think that alot of these scenarios seem to be pretty easy to follow and figure out and the surprises don't seem to be surprising. I still love a good criminal show even now but I just feel like these are all pretty self explanatory for the most part. I'm definitely gonna stick it out for further seasons because I feel like it does have to get better with every one really connecting to the show so much.

I'm a sucker for psychological analysis & how trauma can alter the human brain so I guess if you aren't into that then this show wouldn't interest you. Most people wouldn't say its predictable lol but the show started in '05 so the writing was pretty advanced for that era.

I feel like a downer but I can't get into this series for some reason. Am I the only one who just doesn't get impressed with this show? So many people really like it but it all just seems so predictable. :/ I'm gonna keep trying cause I like having stuff to watch... but yeah, I haven't seen the hype.
