That's interesting 1 and 2 are my fave seasons and I just don't see any can replicate how good they are tbh.

2023-08-27 20:04:19 +0000 UTCAh ok. There are definitely weaker seasons than 1 and 2. The worst seasons in my opinion are 10 and 11, 13 wasn't great either. My favourite seasons are 5, 8, 9 and 3. I'd put season 1 in fifth place and season 2 somewhere in the middle. But Travis seems to like season 2 WAY more than season 1, whereas it's the opposite for me, which is fine of course. But I do think season 3 is a step up from both of them. It'll be interesting to see what he thinks. And maybe if you keep watching with Travis past season 8, you'll think more highly of these early seasons. I've rewatched the entire show like 20+ times lol and I think these early ones are often really underrated by new viewers and by people who've only seen them once or twice. They get better on every rewatch for me and many others. 😊

2023-05-01 00:03:02 +0000 UTCit probably matters to say that i haven't watched a new episode of who in nearly a decade but have found myself recently going back and re watching the seasons i had seen before which is through about half of season 8, so i guess im only referring to those seasons. my favorite seasons personally are 4 and 5, i think that the early seasons have a lot of charm and character to them but that a lot of the individually episode story lines are weaker and the villains and plots suffer from being cheesy or predictable, and i think as the show goes on the doctor's character develops a lot more and we get much more interesting and multifaceted companions. about halfway through series 3 is where i think the show becomes really elevated and maintains that peak up through some of series 6. but that's just my opinion, and im also someone who fell off the show so im sure there may be weaker seasons in the future that i haven't seen!

Recently an online poll with over 3 million votes had seasons 1 and 2 in the top 6 seasons. Of course you're welcome to your opinion, I'm just curious about why you don't like them much?

For many fans this is where they really started to get invested in the show, all the stories over the past two seasons of Rose and Mickey and Jackie and the Cybermen and the Daleks all come together. I'm glad you loved it because it really is a fantastic season finale, one of the best of the show for me. Part two is EPIC! I can already picture your reactions in my mind lol. And I'm impressed about you predicting Mickey's return before it happened. You really should start a psychic reading business on the side. 😂😂
