Diabetes is not so easily manageable, especially not in the United States where they care more about the profit of the wealthy than they do about the health and welfare of the citizens. As a diabetic myself, with an extreme case, it is unaffordable (making it unmanageable). Izzie is hella selfish and i dont think falls in love with George, she just obsesses over him and feels entitled to be with him even though he is married. I mean she believes that God wanted her to be an adulterer to push her and George together, that is next level delusional and stuck up!

2023-04-01 05:26:50 +0000 UTCgeorge and callie are always so weird to me. like, they constantly, constantly seem so out of step. it feels so weird. like they're never matched up on the same page. i don't see the chemistry with izzie at all from a sexual standpoint but i do see him being more in step with her. they get each other. callie and george just seems so random. like what do y'all see in each other? they just constantly seem annoyed at each other lol but i think callie can be explained with the early 2000s "NoT lIkE tHe OtHeR gIrLs" trope. she's meant to be a foil to izzie and meredith. and whereas they kind of look down on her, she kind of looks down on them. they are some of george's closest friends, but she'd rather him not confide in them or be open with them, only with her. i love grey's and it's quite progressive in many ways given the time period. but the whole "in competition" thing just is so "ugh" to me.

Ironically I love Izzie, although I recognize that she has many flaws, but it's a feeling that I can't avoid. I also find it very unfair that there are people who hate Izzie for getting into George's relationship and not George himself!!!

(in no way do I justify George and hold Callie responsible) I hope my point is understood, simply Greys has a very good character construction.
