Avengers: Age of Ultron | Movie Reaction | PATREON REQUEST

I enjoy this one a lot, I think it's very underrated and it's not just a filler film, it furthers the future movies and is actually very important, this film also introduces two important characters in Wanda and Vision. This one also has some of my favorite moments, the hammer lifting scene is pure gold, same with them at the cottage and I really like seeing all of their visions, it really sums up all their characters. We got to see more into Natasha's past, Thor's showed us the infinity stones and Cap's shows that he truly can never go home and that Ultron was right, he really can't live without war, that's what he kept seeing in his vision, it's actually very sad for Cap. And another favorite scene is Cap telling Natasha he won't leave one person on the rock and they just look out into the sky, fully intending to die in order to save everyone. I love the teamwork between Cap and Thor, they are so good together. Tony does irritate me a lot in this one though, I hate how he can never communicates and just does things on his own. And I do wish they gave more Thor to do in this and the first Avengers. I love though the development with Clint, he really becomes a great character, he seems like the every man and this is simply just his job, to me it makes him more of a hero, he doesn't have superpowers or anything just a man with a bow, same could be said for Natasha as well. A lot of people don't like the Bruce and Natasha romance but I like it, it makes sense that she would fall for someone like him and they did start the build between them in the first Avengers. I said it before Cap is my favorite, he's the best. He is so selfless, doesn't think about himself or his own needs, he just always wants to protect. A great fun fact, during the making Scarlet was actually pregnant and used quite a few ways to cover her belly, they either didn't show it, CGI it out and a body double, that's why during the party she's behind the bar. It's interesting when she and Bruce are talking in the kids room about being sterile, she was literally pregnant there, lol

Thanks to both for keeping the ball rolling. I can take up the task in Feb. We have to get him to "Endgame"

I enjoy Ant-Man a lot too! It's most definitely underrated. This is great!! So then I will go ahead and request Captain America: Civil War for my December request! Civil War is my absolute favorite movie within the Marvel Universe, followed closely by Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Because Bucky and Captain America are my two favorite characters in the whole Marvel Universe!! :) Thank you, IIsuk Yang! Sincerely, Heidi

I've decided to request Ant-Man for next month. I really enjoy that movie and think it's underrated in the MCU. I can request the other movie in January

Let me know! :) Heidi

Heidi, I've already put in my request for this month (Smallville) and I plan to request a different movie next month (as much as I love the MCU, there are other movies I want Travis to see, too). I haven't made up my mind yet, though, so there's a good chance I ask for Ant-man next month and postpone my other request for January

Ilsuk Yang

If you request Ant-Man for next month (this month if you haven't already put in your request for this month), then I will request Captain America: Civil War for next month. :) Heidi

At the beginning, I thought my internet went out or something, lol! I was about to check when your video feed came back! Yeah, this movie is actually pretty low on many fans' lists for the MCU. I've always really liked this movie, but it's easily the worst Avengers movie for sure! Great action, but the humor can be hit or miss in this movie. The MCU tries to be too funny a lot of the time, which can take away from some moments. I will say that you're about to see a lot of very good to great movies with the next several movies in the MCU! Ant-Man is next, followed by Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming (you can't watch this one on Disney+ as it's owned by Sony, but still takes place in the MCU), Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War (so GOOD), Ant-man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel (in my opinion, the only miss in Phase 3, which begins with Captain America: Civil War; still a decent movie, though), Avengers Endgame (so GOOD), and Spider-Man: Far From Home. That will finish out phases 2 and 3 for you. I was actually going to request this movie next month, but Jim beat me to it!

You're right about one thing: it was jam-packed, both with references to previous movies as well as set-ups for almost every film to come. That's why I call it the turning point on the journey to Endgame. I hope you won't let your journey stagnate. There're benefits to seeing how they all fit together. Thanks for another fascinating reaction.
