I had forgot that Jeremy gets shot and The reaction from Travis was amazing. And the Elena and Damon at the end was touching. Thanks Travis for another great reaction!!!!

2022-10-15 22:26:37 +0000 UTCHaha ๐ love the whoa whoa whoa of Jeremy / Anna / Vicky (you thinking he is dreaming). So my huge takeaway from this episode has always been Katherine's love for Stephan/Damon. I think she she obviously has always loved Stephan truly, even though her narcissism always gets in the way. I think this episode we can really see that angst on display as she feels his pain as he has to drink more and more blood against his will. She knows how much this is hurting him, but how much he wants to save his brother. All she can do is sit idly by and watch his pain. She also then has the cure and her freedom and the choice of whether or not to save Damon. I think while she says she owed Damon one, this also comes down to the idea of the fact Stephan went through so much to get the cure and would not have forgiven her if she let him die. It shows once again how much she would put on the line to show Stephen she loves him. Katherine has always cared about Damon to a lesser degree and unless she needed to throw away his life for her own safety, I think she would prefer him alive.
