Our robot pal didn't experience the same depression first hand, but knows it happened. He wanted to have a private talk with Luger since they're similar. He knows in his robotic heart that if he had Luger's support, life would have been a lot easier for him.
Luger deeply resents that idea, but dismisses it quickly when he realizes it's more of his "programming" rearing its ugly racist head.
