Gowler obtained a lot of info from Rak, including how it's the statues that help contain and control the Null Daemon. These are tangible reproductions from the Rak memory dump
Rak doesn't seem too concerned. Instead he casually retrieves the gauntlet he borrowed from Lyre and manages to talk to someone with it.
Rak initiates a command line with whomever he is talking to in the gauntlet (hint: It's Scarlet's husband). It's THE CALL code that was used to summon the robots oh so long ago. Within moments a wormhole appears and a giant Bootlox arm rises up.
Rak probably didn't know this, but the statues have a second face that influence the Null Daemon. Gowler orders the statues to be rearranged to initial the ND's attack mode.
