This next page has Doctor Sharpe face off with Tyran (aka Wizard). The story of these two is ever since Tyran rescued Rawn, Sharpe, Fiola and Cerventes from being chased by law enforcement (similar to how Sansregret arrived to pick up Coven in the previous book) they've been given new roles in the castle in order to hide in plain sight.
Sharpe's is that of personal doctor to Tyran.
The problem is Tyran doesn't need a doctor because the tiger eye has healing properties, so they sit and pretend in order to keep up appearances.
Sharpe wants to take this opportunity to continue studying the paranormal and insists on examining the tiger eye. Unfortunately for Tyran is he's inexperienced with the doctor's methods of conducting research...
