General Gowler (who has only appeared in one previous strip, so I don't expect anyone to remember him) explains this valuable asset of theirs, which mined information from influential individuals from all over the universe, is lost to the Canters forever.
The agent asks why not recreate the station, but Gowler states the "borrowed" Catagas technology cannot be reversed engineered and obtaining it again is impossible as apparently all the Catagas are dead.
A bizarre looking portal opens and the agent escapes.
Timbo, on his hunt for Rak, happens to hear everything.
