Rak in the meantime appears deep in thought before Lyre interrupts. It seems Rak's been suspicious enough about Timbo's origins that he requested his communications expert to monitor incoming and outgoing transmissions as soon as the blue explorer reactivates. Lyre admits there IS a new outgoing signal detected, but he can't discern what it is exactly.
Upon being asked how he met Timbo, Rak explains the events of Strix 13 and comes to the conclusion it's time to finally discover the not-robot's secret.
