This page isn't much to look at; it's going to be a whole lot of talking so any backgrounds will be completely obscured anyway...
Vilhelm states that his memories are a bit convoluted, what with remembering over a thousand year's worth of events, places and people. To make things more complicated everytime events change and create a new timeline, he remembers both. With that in mind, he asks Pidherny "I could have sworn you passed away back in Lavenham."
Pidherny replies that he thought so too, but after all the excitement died down he found himself awake again. He guesses the magic that imbues his body and gives him life still lingers, but there's not much left.
As the two sip tea outside, Vilhelm recalls he still has the tiger tail if he wants it back. His elderly counterpart declines saying they know someone who'll make better use of it.
"Oh, that reminds me...!" exclaims Pidherny as he brings up his student. You, the reader, might not remember him but there was a young man who appeared annoyed and uninterested in regular human lives that hung around Pidherny a lot. He was apparently a recruit by the old sage in their struggle to bring peace to the world of Ternion.
Vilhelm recounts a similar story with Wylla. It seems she too was carefully selected by the duo to keep alive as the bard also plays an important role in their struggle (according to them anyway).
Anyway, they see the time and realize "Well it looks like it's time to throw our mortal forms into the writhing abyss of the time well again!", which Pidherny asks "Is it six o'clock already?" (or something along those lines).
*Spoilers*
This so-called "time well" is actually a bit of a journey to a place mentioned ONCE before called the golden city. It's beyond the cataclysmic veil and apparently full of all sorts of chaotic magic and powers...
