Development Update #22 - Act III Roadmap!

Happy May everyone! Now that Act II is complete, it's time to turn our attention to Act III. I spent the last week working on fleshing out all of Act III (Chapters 11-15). As I've said before, I already have a general idea of all the plot points I want to hit throughout the entire story and their approximate pacing, but now I've really fleshed everything out. Because everything is already plotted out and more or less set in stone, I've been able to create a roadmap for the entirety of Act III (see above).

As you can see above, Chapter 11 will be released June 23, 2022 and will formally introduce a character we've gotten a bit of a sneak peek of in Chapter 10 (if you played, you'll know who/what I'm talking about). I've set that release date so far in advance because I'll be going on vacation for two weeks starting on the 24th, so I already know when the game has to be out. After Chapter 11, the release dates get a bit fuzzier, since development can sometimes take more (or less) time than expected.

Anyways, I hope this roadmap is helpful and gives everyone some insight on what's coming up for the next 6-8 months! I'll be finishing up my backend work today, then I'll be back to work writing scene 1 of Chapter 11 on Monday.
