Meanwhile, Koneko continues to struggle with desires she barely understands and learns a little more about her new companions.

I have a deep suspicion that house elves are going to wind up being a major problem in some way soon. They have a completely opaque origin, there’s only one known creator, and we know they’re bound by magic to follow the commands of their owner… but it’s not at all out of the question for the creator to have a back door of some sort like Order 66. It would be the perfect long term play, and who would suspect a happy and loyal elf of treachery? Fleur also commented specifically that Bernadette was always home, even when nobody else was, and even Tom weaponized an elf in canon once.

2025-07-31 16:53:42 +0000 UTCWhile I certainly am hoping our intrepid group can save Sebastien Delacour, I am less comfortable with his becoming a devil. Why? First, as Rias noted, it simply may not be an option for the man. Rias has only so many evil pieces and those yet available may well be too powerful for him to handle. Second, he simply may not want it. So far, everyone who's done this either had few reasons to say no (see Hermione and Luna after their families were killed) or no serious moral objections. Fleur's father, if he did this, could look forward to watching his wife and younger daughter grow old and die, as well as all the people he has known and loved over the years. Also he is not young: how much will the evil piece process minimize the effects of age? I will follow coming events with great interest but am not at all convinced that the answer to all our characters problems is to be turned into devils.

2025-07-22 13:01:18 +0000 UTCThis was a most intriguing chapter with all of the mystery and detective vibes from the investigation into the blood curse afflicting Sebastien. I quite enjoyed reading it and hopefully they can find a way to cure him and if all fails turn him into a devil like Fleur. That would be a hell of way for Fleur to come out of the closet as the saying goes. Next as always the smut is always fantastic and this time with Harry and Fleur teasing a pregnancy kink even though he is using contraceptive spells. Excited for the next chapter!
