2025-04-03 08:03:56 +0000 UTCAssuming Harry doesn't give into the temptation to tear Sirius to shreds, I have a few questions: Might Tonks seek her parents counsel (as lawyers) regarding the currently captured Sirius Black? What happens if/when Remus learns his old friend Peter is still among the living? Or Snape for that matter? Will Remus try to give Chiara the benefit of his own experiences as a Hogwarts student? Am I correct that the Marauder's Map would not show the presence of the Chamber of Secrets? (Yes that is an off the wall question but I am curious.)

2025-03-17 19:08:05 +0000 UTCWhat I was trying to get across in this chapter was a certain degree of emotional volatility on Harry's part, because he's so young and starved for affection, having grown up with the Dursleys. I established his insecurity about the relationship in the previous chapter, which Hermione unwittingly played upon, and that played a role in this, but he also desperately wanted to believe her, so when she said she loved him, he jumped at it. I'll be having him become more confident and secure down the line but figured that, at the stage he was in at the start of this, that made sense for his character.

From his wild black hair and beard to his crazed grey eyes and pale skin, there was no mistaking who the man was, and Harry’s grip on his wand tightened. “Hello There,” the man said with a nervous smile. “Sirius Black, you are a Bold One,” I couldn't stop myself from making this comment after I read the end part.
