After being rejected by Aegon yet again, the furious queen storms past the chambers Daemon and Arianne have been given for their visit, and finds the door ajar. Peering inside, she finds the perfect way to get back at her husband.

I also have a minor announcement. For the past couple months, I've been rather unwell. I won't get into specifics, but a secondary consequence of what I was dealing with was mild insomnia. I couldn't get more than around 4-6 hours of sleep a night for most of January and February, and while that wasn't too bad to start with, over time it started to really wear me down

I tried to let this impact my work here as little as possible and focused as much on my long-running stories as I could, but, exhausted as I became, I couldn't brainstorm for quite as many things as I could before, and that's why the number of unfinished stories I have has piled up over the last couple months.

Thankfully, I seem to be on the mend, and I've recently ramped up production, so to speak. This Thursday, I'll be publishing the third and final part of Keeping Up With the Joneses; next Thursday, I'll be publishing the Demonic Healing epilogue, and I will be working to finish my long-untouched stories over the next couple months, starting with The Family Way and an Improper Homecoming.
