The more she researches Valyrian flesh magic, the more convinced Rhaenyra becomes that she must master it. Not being willing to practice on herself or anyone she cares about, she wracks her brain trying to come up with a solution, but when a particularly vile and unrepentant attempted murderer comes her way, she finds in the awful woman, a possibility that she'd have never considered before. Jon, focusing on training for the coming tourney as well as his studies of Valyrian, helps as she struggles with the decision before her, leading ultimately to exciting possibilities for them both.

Chapter 9 of Delightful Duty will be posted on Friday, along with the next poll. Also, as the third and final chapter of Demonic Healing will be posted next Tuesday, Delightful Duty will switch from being a poll fic to being a regular Tuesday release starting in February.
