I hope you're prepared for your Discord channel to look like the movie 'Equilibrium', only instead of bullets, you will be dodging increasingly obscure depravities. Your Discord will drag your mind through the trenches. You will read things so vile, so graphic that you'll quickly reach a point where you won't be able to look at your fellow humans the same way anymore. The knowledge of what may lie behind someone's eyes will be too much. You will need to fervently hide your identity, less to protect yourself from weird readers and more to protect your family from what you have begat. By the time you retire from writing, you'll have the thousand yard stare of a war veteran peering through time to a happier place in years passed. I encourage you to have a 'Hard No' list somewhere near your intro and the number of a good therapist (and a solid relationship with a local bartender). More seriously, good luck. Have fun. I hope the increased exposure (both good and bad) is productive.
