September Status Update

Greeting everyone,

here is my slightly delayed status update😅 I simply hope you'll trust me enough that I'm working on the project without writing about it regularly by now... aaanyway, time to bring you up to speed.

Writing:  We are making constant progress, sitting at 5k lines of pure writing now. Stella's recruitment arc is finished, as are most of the scenes with Aline and Stella in it. Too bad our cast is by now pretty large, so it takes a while to do every character justice, especially since not all events tied to the lab assault and the girl's growth have been handled yet. But overall I think we are roughly 60 - 70% done with writing.

Art: Our update 6 folder contains currently almost 60 new unique images. If I were to count expressions and variations too, I could say we are almost at 200 now😁A big thanks to my helpers Belg, Fourbe and 'drumroll' Hoogie, who joined our little band of misfits a few weeks ago. I think we may be roughly half way done with images, but I will see how much I can burden my heroic crew over the next weeks.

Code: Our data-restructure is going on full throttle by now, as I am once more assisted by my ace coder Toxic, back from exile!😁Like I probably said in the past, my beginner's mistakes from the code are slowly catching up to me, making it harder to progress unless the basic data restructure gets reworked. So we are currently changing hundreds of global variables and unnamed list that add or subtract items to them all over the code into class objects and dictionaries. The progress on the code is hard to gauge, because this change will affect at least half of the triggers ingame, so the hardest part will be testing our changes once they're done.

I have learned to never give an release date, but I still hope to get something out soon-ish. My idea was to release a small part of the update, namely Susan's part that is separated from the open world, exclusively for the patrons as a way to show my gratitude especially to those, that still support the development, even if they currently gain nothing from it. You guys are the best 😘

As for the votes on the romance, I'll skip Jonathan for now, as he didn't have any chance to really present himself, which he might get the next update. I have seen the other votes and will most likely not write a romance path for Gina with Mike and Enzi. (Though I am intrigued by that threesome with Stella and Mike... 😋)
