In my quest for SCIENCE, my path took myself and my dear companion Raven to the world of Sigma-12, where there are hints of a primitive and fiercely tribal species there, known as theHexataurs.

Our arrival on Sigma-12 was without incident. The world is quite backward and we were unable to secure any civilized transport. Following some leads, we made our way into the wilderness of Sigma-12.

In retrospect, I suppose Raven shouldn’t have gotten into that drinking contest with those brutes in the starport. And we shouldn’t have had those dodgy cheeseburgers. Were she less hung-over, and our tummies less unsettled, it’s quite probable we would have avoided the net that trapped us.

I was torn between fear of captivity and excitement, for we were surrounded by the very beings we sought.
