Oh yeah, its time to get Rewarding Awesome Rangers (you lot :D)

The Gelatinous Amorphoids of Chimera-Sigma cont...

True to form, Raven hastened to my aid, blasting away with one of her loud firearms. I was momentarily caught off-guard by the Amorphoid’s contact or I would have warned Raven that her weapons would have no effect.

Instead, a second Amorphoid reacted to the hostile emotions radiating from my companion and responded in a manner, I believe, they adopt to placate a threat.

It turns out that the Amorphoids can secrete a corrosive substance of specific, and remarkable, efficacy. Both Amorphoids applied this substance to the garments of both Raven and myself while simultaneously engaging in restraining actions against our persons. In moments, our garments and equipment were dissolved away, leaving us quite exposed. I expect I would have found that more alarming were it not for the more pressing issue of the Amorphoids then seeking how best to elicit a pleasurable reaction from us.

I must ask Raven later if the tentacled form it took came from her thoughts or if it was some sort of instinctual reaction generated from the creature’s own psyche as a response to attack.
