Comics or Pinups?
Added 2015-08-19 21:28:54 +0000 UTCI've seen a significant increase on my Patreon due to hosting an adult
comic that many of my fans want to see inked, and colored versions of
two comics that I'm working on. Thing is, comics take much longer to do,
due to having to write some kind of short story, the panels, the many
pieces of sequential art. So, maybe more comics, and a few pinups here
and there for Patreon.
I don't have any commissions to do, and if folks do want a commish from
me, I can do occasional stream commissions here and there, because I
don't want to be bogged down with a huge backlog like that again.
What do you guys think in your opinion?

That was already my plan with the comic. I was going to release it for sale for those that don't want to support my Patreon for a fee.

2015-08-20 20:13:10 +0000 UTCI think once and if you receive a commish you should see it through. Like you said, you don't want to end up with a back log. That said though, with the comic you may want to limit your commissions to about 5. just so the commission work doesn't take away from your current project. If you don't receive one, I say keep working your comics to the end. If it goes well you might want too consider releasing the comic into an art cd for those who don't do the Patreon? Maybe even throw on some more pinup and guest artists into it. Just a thought.

2015-08-20 19:34:06 +0000 UTCI for one would love to see the comics fully fleshed out! Heck, I wouldn't mind seeing Monster in the Closet extended. Maybe a full Five Nights of extremely kinky "nightmares"~? Could be fun. To be honest, I'd chip in to see that happen as a whole other project entirely in addition to this Patreon.
