Someone on the discord suggested Arctic Expedition as a theme with this old painting of the HMS Erebus and we were so taken by it that we decided to make it into a battlemap!
We decided the Erebus was too large to fit in the map so we instead decided to depict something more akin to the Gjøa, although of course it can be any ship you want it to be! And there's plenty of variations without the ship in case you want to cross the icy reaches on foot.
Oh and the ship is a separate PNG too, in case you want to use it elsewhere. :)
