DDB to Alchemy RPG Character Importer and Other Free Goodies!

I do believe they are asking about importing from foundry to alchemyrpg, would be very useful to peeps who want to try alchemy out with their group for 1 or 2 sessions to figure out if they want to jump platforms and put in the work of recreating their world in alchemy.

I've been a aptron of yours (and many others) for years...having an easy way to move all content into Alchemy would be a huge bonus and help get over the inertia of staying with Roll20, where all my content is already loaded. Thank you for trying to find easier solutions!

I make my npc's as characters in dnd beyond (it works for me as i can properly keep notes then for everyone). As a GM, after i import a character from DNDbeyond, how do i then import it into a game as an npc?

I don't think so... but the main thing the premium account gives you is more characters so if you're just getting started you probably won't need that anyway!

Turns out I already had an alchemy account (don't remember signing up!) but haven't really checked it out. Is there a way to get the free trial without making a new account?

That's genius, I just had asked my party to create their accounts as well. I've only ever used Owlbear in the past but I really enjoy how you can set the mood by adding easy to load images between combat to help with the narrative of the story. Cheers!

You can import anything you get here on our patreon or anywhere else on the internet in Alchemy. We've no interest in people rebuying assets they already own. We're currently working on a way for all patrons to get access to all their content within Alchemy to speed up that process too.

Took me a while to get my bearings on Alchemy but as it's pretty straightforward. Question though. For the your animated maps, will we be able to use those or any other map that we have acquired through Patreon or otherwise on Alchemy, or will we need to acquire them through the Alchemy marketplace in order to use them?

Using Foundry, so I'm not too interested. Seems cool though!

I am probably going to move my campaign over there soon. It's beautiful. I've already signed up and am slowly getting set up. I run games where some of my players have special needs so change is difficult for them so I have to take it slowly however, otherwise I'd move over today.

Alchemy is gorgeous, I highly recommend it even though it's still in development. Remember you can still play D&D, just don't give your money to WotC.
