Map Remixing Poll
Added 2020-07-01 18:22:42 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Last month we launched a patron-only map-remixing competition and the time has come for the final poll to decide the winner!
There were only 9 entrants and we want to say thank you so much to everyone who decided to take part! Thanks for creating these awesome maps and best of luck in the polls!

The winner will receive a license for Foundry VTT or a physical copy of Mythic Odyssey of Theros, so vote wisely!
If you want to see any of the above maps in closer detail, you can check them out and download them here.

For the next contest we'll reupload all the maps here ourselves so they're available for patrons. :)

2020-12-16 14:50:18 +0000 UTCUnfortunately they've since been taken down by the original creators. For the next contest we'll reupload all the maps here ourselves so they're available for patrons.

2020-07-05 21:56:22 +0000 UTCregardless of who wins, i am DEFINITELY using that massive astral fortress! so much excellent work here!

2020-07-02 03:37:20 +0000 UTCReal bummed Eliot's in last place. I think his was the most radical transformation, and his clever title drives home the idea that this is a tactical military mission you're viewing through a monitor. The idea is so good, and he chose one of your simplest maps to start with.
2020-07-02 01:06:06 +0000 UTCSo hard choosing between Mo & Jessie for me! Great job to you both and everyone else's work

2020-07-02 00:20:24 +0000 UTCMo and Jessie both blew me away; those two are just. Phenomenal.

2020-07-01 21:14:40 +0000 UTCI voted for several purely based on personal appeal, but really all are fantastic - all the contestants are amazingly skilled.

2020-07-01 20:48:56 +0000 UTCIt was so hard to choose between the Release the Kraken one and the Church of the Beholder. I ended up picking the former because it was really creative use of terrain for a boss fight map. Not a lot of maps on the ocean that offer terrain to traverse for melee fighters.

2020-07-01 20:38:47 +0000 UTCThat was really fun! And good practice for using the select and mask and clone stamp tool! You make such cool textures and colors, the maps are really inspiring.
2020-07-01 20:31:47 +0000 UTCI liked your submission Arthur. Makes me think we should have done a jungle-y variation for that map. Maybe we will do something Incan themed in future!

2020-07-01 20:27:19 +0000 UTCThe problem I had in making the map was how much of a difference do I make in the map? I could have completely revamped the map, but I wanted to at least be able to toggle back and worth and see the similarities. In the end I went with a compromise of content being very similar. I wondered if I made them too similiar.
2020-07-01 20:24:00 +0000 UTCIf you made something and still want to share it, you can add it to the folder so other patrons can see it and use it. :)

2020-07-01 20:16:22 +0000 UTCI TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THE DEADLINE. Hope there is another one soon. These remixes are lovely and i’d love to compete next time

2020-07-01 19:41:50 +0000 UTCThanks for all of the votes so far guys! So excited to see all the other entries! My map is meant to be an answer to what lies on the other side of the portal in the Eldritch Church. When my players reach it, they will have to use an artifact weapon they found and use it as a key to create the bridge and cross.

2020-07-01 19:17:55 +0000 UTCWe were hoping to make it a regular thing but as there was only 9 entrants out of a possible 4500 patrons, we're not sure if it is worth it. Perhaps a different type of contest would be more popular?

2020-07-01 18:45:55 +0000 UTCI only just started getting into remixing maps, I wish I had some time to make one for this!

2020-07-01 18:44:36 +0000 UTCI'd love for this to happen again. I had to make several maps for my game during this time, so didn't have time to enter, but I love the idea.

2020-07-01 18:31:06 +0000 UTCHard to pick a favourite, but at least I've gotten a load of ideas for game encounters! Is this a one-off competition or will it be a regular thing?
2020-07-01 18:30:33 +0000 UTCWow, some really awesome remixes here!
