The dragon scene was so beautiful, and we saw parts of this with Fern already in learning the defensive spells,etc. She is ready if needed, but she has faith in others and that is so empowering.

pretty sure Eisen hit Stark during training. Stark must have somehow shown a hint at how powerful he could actually be and Eisen, out of fear/instinct, without thinking hit him HARD. Adam is def right though, and you'll see more with Stark as the series goes on, Eisen 100% should have apologized or said SOMETHING to alleviate things instead of parting in anger. Edit: Also first thing Frieren does, IMMEDIATELY tells Stark he did a good job. such a good moment

2025-09-24 20:07:32 +0000 UTCI think Eisen was startled by Stark, maybe he didn't hear him come in or was distracted by a letter from Heiter. But suddenly having someone as strong as Stark, who can literally split a mountain in two with enough time, materialize behind you would be scary as hell for a seasoned warrior who pretty much needs to strike first ask questions later. Fight or flight instinct kicked in and Eisen has basically eliminated the idea of "flight" his whole life. Him being ashamed of his actions at the moment, or just confused as to why he attacked Stark, doesn't excuse him from not apologizing though, even if it meant tracking him down and doing it in person.
