Attack on Titan 1x22 Reaction- The Defeated: The 57th Exterior Scouting Mission, Part 6 (YouTube Version)

The way I wanted to go after Dieter 😡 .... I get it, but you've got to listen to Levi!!!! I was impessed at Levi's response afteward, though. This was a serious Levi Appreciation Episode for me, from skills and tactics to human interaction. Good stuff!

love how Sarah really complimented Levi on how he handled Dieter, coz I was honestly expecting them to punish him. that's very mature of him, such great leader mentality. Also, love Adam's reaction when Sarah remembered the flower from a previous episode way back haha, the attention to detail is >>>>>

Levi's strength and fighting skills will forever and always be a highlight of his character, but his humanity and compassion is what cements him as one of my favorite characters in media. The triple-punch that always gets me this episode: Levi makes the comment about how the corpses the soldiers were going to have to toss off the wagon were "nothing special/different from the others", and then it cuts to Petra's body rolling and hitting the ground... followed by him giving Dieter that patch and saying it was Ivan's (when it's implied that it's Petra's, as you see Levi specifically take the patch from one of the bodies earlier), and THEN Levi having to remain stoic as Petra's father is speaking with him... it is so brutal man.

I love the little info cards. Sometimes they tell you important stuff. Most of the time they just answer weird little questions, or stuff you hadn't even thought about. I didn't think about the carts needing great suspension bc they're hauling ass across rough terrain. Glad they have so many tiny details fleshed out though. Like if they hadn't shared that info, there would've been mechanics somewhere getting annoyed that seemingly wooden carts aren't breaking axles or w/e with how hard theyre bouncing off the ground. I know we all have those little details we pick up on in other shows that aren't explained and stick out. Giving these details helps you stay in the moment imo. Great world building
