Each time I see something new in the show or a new thing discussed it hits a bit differently. There was comment in another reactor's channel saying that violet often seems detatched in some episodes when she's alone, staring off into the distance, but in those moments she's taking in the beauty of her surroundings, she has always had a very deep appreciation for beautiful things even though she doesn't know how to express it. The moment in the observatory episode when she starts reciting the book when seeing the comment is her starting to find words to put to what she's seeing. The moment she saw the brooch on the street, she knew beauty in gilbert's eyes but couldn't name the feeling, but she was somewhat able to express what she felt when she compared the two. Episode 2 in the clocktower looking out over leiden, many times she's on the roof of CH postal looking into the night and into the city, etc. I'm usually not emotional when I watch shows, but I have the soundtrack for the show in my car and I don't remember which track triggered it but the image of violet staring off into the stars popped into my head while driving and I instantly sobbed like 3 or 4 times before I collected myself. It's that kind of show.
