Wowww that's cool that it won those awards!! For all these fight scenes, I keep thinking of the deeper meaning behind what is going on and the things that are being said, and it's really quite genius

2025-07-02 18:19:28 +0000 UTCThis is one of anime's most Iconic confrontatios. The way this show frames it's fights emotionally might be the best in the industry. They make you feel like your actually watching a middle school kid get the shit kicked out of him. It's so uncomfortable to watch but beautifully shot and animated. The way they give us the typical brother vs brother confrontation in this episode through Koayama vs Mob is epic. Koyama mirrors what Ritsu is slowly becoming through his actions and provides Ritsu that 3rd person perspective of what he is doing looks like from the receiving end. The first season of Mob won the award for "Best fight scene" in and the "Best Action show" in 2017 and still is the bar for how fights show be emotionally and visually.
