March 2024 Status Report

I'll be quick. My mom broke her leg on tuesday, then promptly fell again at the clinic and hurt her leg even more. She's undergone emergency surgery, and is currently awaiting a second round to possibly implant metal reinforcements to her leg.
It hasn't been easy for me or my family, particularly as my mother refuses the use of painkillers and is in incredible pain and will probably continue to be for a while.
So yeah. I was getting back to another writing streak, and that killed it. I'm going to try to work myself back up, but I'm honestly really not doing that great. So, it may take a while.
That's it. You guys deserved some answers as to why I wasn't posting lately, and here they are.
Oh, right, one last thing. Most of you are probably not aware, since it was tucked into an RR author's notes and a discord announcement, but I made a, let's say inappropriate to the workplace chapter centered around Pyn and Allya two weeks ago, which will only be available on discord due to patreon's periodic crackdowns on such things. In case that remotely interests you, you'll find it there, in one of the patreon only channels (so you'll need to link your discord account if you want access, I'm afraid). It is effectively a special, and completely separate from the story's narrative. It may be obliquely referenced a few times going forward, but that's it.

Sorry to hear. I recently broke my leg, and after I recovered enough to walk used a cane. Big mistake, fell twice, hurt right knee. Learned my lesson and got a walker until I recover completely.
