June 2023 Status Report

Apologies for the late report, but this month...SUCKED wouldn't be a good enough word for it.

In short summary : The AC broke down, AGAIN, requiring repairs, AGAIN. My balcony started literally falling apart and had to be repaired in a hurry. My father got wounded, broke his leg, so I had to take care of him for a few days until he could go back home so my mother could kick his ass hard enough to go see a doctor because he wasn't FUCKING LISTENING TO ME. Then there is my university's administration, which I'm going to gloss over because no printable terms could describe the mess.

That's compounded by my desk, which is becoming more and more unstable to the point of shaking the wall with the monitor on it. I've ordered a new one but due to the fact that it has hinges it has proven every bit as unstable, making it extremely hard to write.

And, at the end of the month and the beginning of July, one of my friends started a friendship destroying dispute and ended up effectively stabbing me in the back. So yeah.

So all that combined means that in all, I wrote effectively one chapter the whole month, at the very end of it, which I didn't post because I was embroiled in that mess with my now ex-friend. I manage to write another chapter afterwards but that's it. So, chapter 160 and 161 will be posted in the coming days (chapter 160 at 18h today, 161 tomorrow). My apologies for the effective month-long hiatus, but I didn't have any choice much less was it planned. Had I had a choice, it wouldn't have been, but I post the backlog as close to it being written as I can, and this was not an option in this case for what little I did manage to write.
