EXPERIMENTAL LORE FILE - CURRENTLY INCOMPLETE/SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Tark Hegemony :

Civilian :

Possesses steam and magic powered transportation, such as railways, ships, ect. Has a sizeable trade skyfleet and waterfleet

Has a sizeable automated workforce in the form of moderately advanced golems.

Has fully industrialized processes (assembly lines, rationalized production, ect).

Military :

Has breech-loading rifled artillery guns. However due to alloy issues and technological limitations, they have to use screw breeches, cannot make auto-loaders or rapid-fire cannons.

Infantry weapons are mainly bolt action rifles, but semi-automatic rifles are starting mass production. Early machineguns are entering production and gatling guns are being phased out.

Eris Empire :

Civilian :

While still being developped, the Eris Empire possesses internal combustion engines. Has a gargantuan trade fleet and massive, extremely advanced transportation networks, including canals, railways, teleporters, ect.

Has the capability for an advanced, sapient AI level automated workforce, but does not put it in place for political reasons. Industry is mainly powered by biologicals, with a degree of automation inferior to that of the Tark Hegemony outside of pure assembly line work, which is usually handled by simple robotic arms, like Earth.

Has fully industrialized processes on a mass scale (small ship assembly lines, ect).

Military :

Has breech-loading, automatic/rapid fire artillery guns.

Infantry weapons are mainly automatic assault rifles and magic powered high velocity rifles. Gunblades are also possible, although mainly reserved for special operatives or high-ranking officers. Machineguns and primitive rocket launchers dominate the battlefield.

Elkis Republic :

Civilian :

Possesses a few imported steam powered railways, but is incapable of reproducing them. Most transportation technology is muscle/animal powered (carts, ect), or waterbound (canals). It's trading skyfleet is sizeable, but it's trading waterfleet is effectively nonexistent.

Has basic golems for automation, but in highly limited quantities, usually concentrated in a few major cities.

Has partially rationalized production processes, but usually concentrated in foreign megacorporation holdings.

Military :

Has muzzle-loading bronze guns. Barely worthy of the name of artillery, but it's military is trying to modernize.

Infantry weapons are medieval, very few musket batallions exist, and they use smooth bore flintlocks. No infantry support weapon to speak of is in service, as mages fill that role.

Asarian Kingdom :

Civilian :

Possesses a handful of demonstration steam train tracks located in Sunrise, but is completely incapable of reproducing them. Virtually all the transportation technology is muscle/animal powered or waterbound. It's trading skyfleet is pathetic, but it's trading waterfleet is quite significant, operating mainly out of Sunrise.

Golem automation is effectively nonexistent in the eastern kingdom, banned in favor of slave labor. It is, however, aggressively expanding in the western kingdom, as a crown driven effort to reform the still peasant-based economy of many areas. Said reforms are not popular with the nobility, and have drawn the ire of many nobles.

Has no rationalized production processes to speak of, and is actively hostile towards them for political and social reasons.

Military :

No artillery beyond what can be built on-site, such as catapults, trebuchets, ect. The Asaria Defence Force does have mobile ballistas, but that is it. A few imported magic cannons sit on the walls of Asaria, but they are more magic based than technological, and are static weapon emplacements built by the old Saphire Kingdom.

Infantry weapons are medieval, at best. Some troops, peasant levies, are armed with agricultural tools.
