How I edit YouTube videos.

You asked, so you shall receive. A lot of folks have been wondering what my editing process looks like, so I decided to walk you though how I edited my previous video, which can be found here: https://youtu.be/x9XCWWouJmQ

Hope this is helpful! Let me know if you like these kinds of videos! It's all new to me, haha.

How I edit YouTube videos.

At school and in my internship, we used Windows workstations running Premiere Pro 2.0. It's been so long! I did my internship at a local news station and they had one Final Cut editor for creative/advertising projects and 3D graphics. They worked in a completely different part of the building than the news editors. I've been thinking about trying out FCP, tbh! I wonder if anything I know would even be applicable across platforms and years like that

Ah thanks for the response! Yes I use my trackball mouse and trackpad religiously! The trackpad is an easy way to sideways scroll through the timeline and pinch and zoom into certain areas. That’s pretty interesting that you also used to edit! Did you also use fpx?

This was cool to see! I definitely love "star of the show Fluke" videos, but I can appreciate the less frenetic energy here. I definitely hadn't considered how well-versed in pop culture and memes someone has to be to do what you do. It was interesting to see you use both a trackpad and a trackball mouse. I went to school for broadcast production and did a lot of editing back when non-linear editors were starting to become more widespread. I'd never really considered how useful something other than a normal mouse might be, but now I'm curious.

YES! I've been waiting for this one!
