Chapter 8: "It occurred to her that a human would probably find it weird to think of eating a wolf." -> Though it didn't prevent many cultures on earth from domesticating wolves into dogs meant for consumption XD "“Leave it to me, my queen,” he said when she approached with another sharp stone. “I think I understand the basics, and there’s no need for you to dirty yourself with work like this.”" -> The most important advantage of a hive - no more disobedient servants! :D "But as she’d expected, the entry for Hive had risen to 1/2." -> I hope there will be some sort of exponential growth or another mechanism to this so that a 'real hive' can start without Regina having to kill Slimes for 300 years to max out her level XD (And yes, this is quite a boring/bad joke but I just had to make it) ""it’s not my decision to make. A hive’s growth and makeup are the Hive Queen’s purview"" -> And this is the major disadvantage of a hive - people just don't do things they aren't 'made for' XD ""and I should bury the rest of the viscera.”" -> So this hive species doesn't eat internal organs? Or is it that Regina's human memories influence Max? I won't comment on the system and my current uncomfortability with it anymore until it will become important.

I'll just post one comment per chapter I read over here at patreon. Chapter 7: "He had a vague feeling that it wasn’t normal to be the only hive drone of a queen in the wilderness" -> I don't really know why but I find this piece of Max' thoughts quite funny XD "She’d told him he could call her that. He wasn’t sure if that was a softly-worded command or just an offer" -> Which is an important problem most hive stories won't have because the drones are just that, drones :D "“It is,” Max agreed. He didn’t want any weird System messing around in his head." -> Any 'system' with quite unknown consequences should always be met with scepticism.

I support a few authors that have multiple stories on their patreons. As long as you clear say which story it’s a part of in the title for example for the story put PHQ before the chapter number and tag it appropriately we’ll be alright.
