Spite the Symbiote: Part Seven (rough draft)
Added 2022-07-23 20:00:03 +0000 UTCFour years ago I met Spite. It was all a chaotic mess back then, I mean, it still is, but looking back I had less control then. Over four years so much has happened. Between going into hiding, fighting for my life, and coming to the academy I can't keep track of it all. I never expected to be a hero, let alone one people would look up to. I always figured I would remain that scrawny awkward kid no one noticed. But now, it feels like everyone notices me.
Because our popularity as a hero has increased, the academy has set Spite and me up with a PR agent. Well, so far they’ve set us up with two. Spite hasn’t liked the two that came before. So if this third one doesn’t work out, we could be in a bit of hot water with the academy.
“I don’t like them telling me what to do, like I’m some adorable little puppet who will perform on cue for them! I am adorable, but I have no strings or hand up inside me.” Spite then hesitated, thinking about what he said for a moment. “Max, am I puppet?”
I sighed and rubbed the hoodie he made around my head between my thumb and forefinger. “You’re not a puppet, babe. But you need to be nice! I’m asking you for this favor, if we piss off this next agent, we’re going to be in more trouble than that time you destroyed the coffee bar at the cafeteria.”
“It was all decaf!”
“I don’t care!” I huffed as we walked into the gym. “I’ll give you that the last guy was creepy, but the lady before that seemed nice.”
“She was a clout chaser,” Spite hissed, his tongue wagging into my face from the top of my head.
I moved his tongue back and Spite shifted, making a work out top for me. I went over to a treadmill to start my workout.
I had started getting up early so I could go to the gym when it wasn’t busy. There were a smattering of people around, but I felt comfortable with that. I handed Spite the earphones and he attached himself around them like a chain than cupped over my ears.
This was something else I never would have expected to be doing, let alone enjoy. I started working out after Jack suggested it. I had been working on strength training, but now I had a routine down I really enjoyed. I used to go with Eli, but he tended to get pretty hot and heavy, so we decided to start doing our workout separately. Without him, I enjoyed a less crowded gym. I would usually get done with my workout by the time Eli was getting up and making breakfast, so it all kind of worked out.
Spite hugged tight around my waist as I jogged on the treadmill. It was a bit odd, but I kept going since he wasn’t saying anything. After a bit of running, I went through the rest of my routine. Near the end, I got a text from Eli.
Spite lifted up my phone for me so I could read it as I set down some weights.
“I may not be home when you’re done with your work out. I noticed we were low on a few things so I stepped out to shop. If you feel like waiting I’ll pick us up something at the diner.”
“So we’ll have the apartment alone if we leave?” Spite tittered.
Eli sent another message. “Send me cute selfies while you’re at the gym.”
I chuckled and sighed, glancing around before I stepped in front of the mirror. I took a picture and Spite scoffed.
“Not like that! Your generation invented the thirst trap, what are you doing?” Spite rose up over my chest as well as pushed the front of my pants down just enough so it was suggestive, but nothing was overtly hanging out. He snapped the picture while I was stunned.
“See?” Spite showed me the picture. “You’re hot stuff!”
I looked over the picture and realized I didn’t recognize the person in it. In my head I was still that skinny, scrawny twerp from four years ago. The guy in the picture was tall and lithe with a pretty stellar physique. I mean, I knew I had grown and changed, I’d just never seen it in such a pleasing manner.
“If we head home now I’ll show you how to take nudes,” Spite cackled.
I swallowed and sent the picture to Eli. “I would like a shower.” I gathered my things and Spite formed the hoodie around me again. “Since we have that important meeting today and all.”
“Oh sure, the meeting,” Spite laughed. “Why are you so worried about this anyways? We don’t need that academy to keep punching people in the face.”
“I like the academy. I like having that protection with them,” I huffed.
Spite scoffed and he tightened up around me again. “But Rabid is captured. Our main source of worry is dealt with.”
“What about Beast? Mr. Miraculous? That Lucky Devil that was just broken out of the high security facility?” I huffed back.
Spite grumbled and sniffed. “Mr. Miraculous is a pussy, we shouldn’t be worried about him. Lucky Devil has nothing to do with us. But Beast could prove problematic.”
I grabbed the front of the hoodie and tugged. “She is problematic!”
“She just wants to kill Rabid, I say we let her,” Spite cackled.
We got back home into our apartment. It was quiet and a little chilly inside as we walked in. Spite pulled up off my body and wrapped around so he could face me.
He bobbed there in the air with that big grin upon his face. “Are we really going to take a shower? Or are you and I going to celebrate?”
“Celebrate what?” I asked.
Spite’s mouth opened wide. “You don’t remember? You’re awful! Four years ago we met for the first time. Granted I was in a tube.”
My heart sputtered, I didn’t think Spite would keep track of such things. “I know. I was just going to wait until after the meeting.”
“Well, Eli isn’t home, and that workout has done things to me. And it’s been a while since it was just us, Max.” Spite licked my cheek as he coiled up around my neck. “So, is it the shower, or somewhere else?”
I moaned as he melted down inside my shorts, grasping tendrils wrapped around my thighs and slowly worked their way around my groin. “Bedroom.”
“Good choice.” Spite hissed into my ear.
We went into the bedroom and I sat on the bed right before the mirror. Eli enjoyed the mirror when we had sex, and I’d grown quite fond of it too. Spite removed my shorts and spread my legs so I could see him wrapped around me, crawling up around my cock as it began to harden. He tightened and coiled around the shaft, massing me until my pulse began to hammer.
“Look at yourself,” Spite whispered into my ear. “Look at you, a man. A handsome, powerful man. You were a weakling when I first saw you. But I love that weakling.” He stroked my cock slowly, warming himself around it. “You and I, we’re a great team. We changed each other. Made each other stronger.”
I moaned as I watched myself in the mirror. “Spite-”
“Yes, I know,” he chuckled. “Where would you be without me? Certainly not here in your own apartment. Certainly not waiting on your adorable little boyfriend to come home.” Spite’s growls vibrated through my body. “Certainly not getting fucked by the sexiest creature in the galaxy!”
I chuckled, rubbing my hand down my body and taking hold of my cock. Spite glided up my arm, forming a tight suit around my body. He was all around me, becoming us, turning into one.
“You are the best thing that ever happened to me. I don’t tell you enough.”
“Because I’m an annoying little fucker?” Spite snickered.
He formed around my face, his long tongue sneaking inside my mouth. I sighed in relief as we laid there before the mirror, our body poised and gleaming. I ran our hand down and the other snapped a picture.
“When did you take my phone?” I huffed.
Spite giggled. “Don’t worry about that.” He stretched out a tendril and held the phone above us. “Don’t think about this phone at all.” He started moving along my cock again, stroking it and twisting around it. I fell back upon the bed, moaning and grunting. Spite lifted my thighs and I felt something wet below. He licked and nudged at my ass, growling lustfully.
“That’s what you like, don’t you Max?” Spite cackled. “Eli’s fun to play with, but your first love has always been me.”
I rolled over onto my stomach as Spite gathered tightly around my hips and rear. I moaned into the bed and reached back. Our fingers toyed with my hole while wet tendrils prepared it. They licked and poked, gently nudging their way inside. I could tell Spite was teasing me, just waiting for me to break.
“You were my first love too,” Spite whispered. “You are my entire world, Max.”
I caught my breath and lifted my head. “Spite, you never told me that before.”
“I’m shy.”
I smiled and slipped my fingers between my cheeks, easing our fingers inside. “I love you so much.”
“How could you not?” Spite stretched inside me, our long fingers growing to fill me. I whimpered, placing my face into the bed again. Spite was all around me, my everything, my universe. He twitched and squeezed all around me, thrusting around my cock and inside me.
“That’s it, take it,” Spite snarled. “You horny fucker.”
“Look who’s talking,” I moaned.
Spite snarled and grunted in my ear, thrusting himself inside me. I panted and sighed, stretched out my body as I felt every pulse.
“Come,” Spite commanded. “Come for me. I want to taste you so badly.”
I rolled over onto my back again, arching my hips off the bed. I was so close, I could feel myself fading into an endless warm pool. My hips shuddered and my voice left me. Every fiber of us was vibrating, alive with that sudden burst of fulfillment. Spite slurped and moaned, wrapping his tongue around me to milk me every drop I had.
I sank back onto the bed, breathing deeply and smiling in contentment. My phone then slapped me in the face. “Spite!” I whined as I picked it up. I then saw Spite had recorded everything. I grunted and let it be for now, enjoying the afterglow and the way Spite felt velvety and warm as he climbed up my body.
“I want to go aain,” Spite said.
I would love that as well, but there were other things at hand. “We have that meeting. We can’t.”
“I’ll suck you off in the shower!” Spite giggled.
“Fuck! A shower!” I sat up like a bolt, but my legs weren’t working right, so I about slammed into the doorway. I got as good a shower as I could then rushed through the closet to find something presentable to wear.
“Just wear me,” Spite said.
“This is a big meeting. I’m not having you embarrass me again and turn into a croptop half way through!” As I was stepping out of the closet with some clothes I saw Eli walking in carrying a coffee.
“You can’t do that to me,” Eli huffed.
“Sorry, I’m in a rush.” I slip on underwear while Spite forms around the top of my head.
Eli saunters in with a pleased smile. “First that gym selfie, now this? I may have to call over Urata to take care of me.”
“Record it if you do, then we’ll trade.” Spite waggled the phone in Eli’s face.
I reached out and kissed Eli. “Do what you need to, baby. I’d love to stay and fool around with you, but I have that meeting.”
Eli licked his lips then sat on the bed. “Oh right, the new PR agent. I hear she’s the best. Especially for…tough cases.”
“You calling me a problem child?” Spite took Eli’s coffee and flipped off the top, dunking himself inside it.
“You know what you are, I don’t need to call you anything.” Eli smiled back up at me as I put on my suit. “Fuck you’re hot.”
Every hair on my body stood on end. I looked back down at Eli gazing lovingly up at me and Spite peering up over the edge of the coffee cup. I bent down and kissed him again. “Have Urata save some for me.”
“Ooh, is something special going on?” Eli teased.
“Its our anniversary,” Spite giggled. “We’re supposed to be fucking all day to celebrate.”
Eli’s eyes widened and he stood back up. “Why didn’t you tell me? I would have planned something special for you both.”
“It’s okay, Spite and I enjoy our silly tradition.”
“Yeah, but now Max has to go an be an adult!” Spite mocked.
Eli smirked and kissed Spite inside the coffee cup. “How about I wait until you both get home and I can help you with your celebration? If you don’t mind that is.” He set the cup down then helped me with my tie.
“Not at all,” I chuckled shyly.
Eli smoothed down the collar of my shirt and admired for a moment. “You know, this has been a fantasy of mine.”
“What isn’t?” Spite giggled.
Eli put the lid back onto the coffee cup. “You in this suit, it’s almost too much for me. Mind if I take a picture?”
I felt my face grow hot. “S-sure! But why?”
Eli stepped back, snapping a few pictures of me. “Because you’re sexy as hell.” He smirked up at me. “God I wish we had a desk you could fuck me on.”
My cheeks grew even warmer. “I-I have to go. I’ll call you when I head home.” My voice cracked. I kissed Eli on the cheek as I left, picking up Spite in the coffee cup as I ran out the door.
Walking down the street I began to cool down. Both Eli and Spite knew just how to wind me up.
“Am I a problem child?” Spite asked as he rose up out of the coffee cup.
“Are you really asking me that?” I huffed.
“I know I can be a stinker, but am I really so awful?” Spite pouted.
I pet the top of his head and he formed around my tie and neck. “You’re a class clown, but I wouldn’t call you a problem. All I ask is that you behave for this agent. Okay?”
Spite scoffed. “I’ll try. But if she tries to get us to do something stupid, I am out.”
We went into the building where this agent’s office resided. We took the elevator up and we were shown into her office by a secretary. We sat there in her office decorated with mostly shelves upon shelves of books and some framed letters.
“At least it’s not like the last guy,” Spite hissed. “Guy gave me creeper vibes.”
“You’re not wrong,” I grumbled.
The door opened and a woman walked in. She was dressed nice enough but her hair was tied back messily. She sat down at her desk, looking over her phone then turning on her computer.
“Max and Spite,” she sighed. “Nice to finally meet you.” She smiled at us and extended her hand over the desk. “I’m Rosie. Do you two need anything before we start this meeting?”
Spite wrapped around her hand and shook it hard. “She’s not sweaty, that’s nice.”
Rosie made a face as Spite let go. “Is that important to you?”
“The last guy was gross. You seemed up to date on hygiene,” Spite giggled.
She nodded and looked at her phone. “Right, you had Romund before. Yeah, he’s always weirded me out. Anyways, you two are a bit frustrating.”
I flinched and Spite laughed.
“I’m sorry, ma’am,” I mumbled.
Rosie smiled at me. “I’m used to frustrating. Heff sends me all his tough cases. Hell, I rehabilitated the images of Ares and Dr. Marlow, I think I can handle you two.” She stood up from her desk and walked around it. She sat beside us in the other chair. “Sunstone is the golden child these days, he’s everyone’s dream client. But you? You’re the bad boy everyone loves. That’s a bonus of itself.”
“You’re not going to make me stay quiet during interviews are you?” Spite asked. “Because between the two of us, I’m the lead.”
“I don’t see you two as being separate. As a unit, you’re one in the same,” Rosie replied. “I’d like you to talk, I just would appreciate you holding your tongue on some of the profanity. Kids follow your every footstep.”
“They shouldn’t,” Spite sounded smug.
Rosie leaned back in her seat. “Do you see yourselves doing this hero work for a long while?”
“Oh,” I was surprised by that question. “I uh…I actually never thought about it.”
“Me neither,” Spite added. “I never expected it.”
Rosie nodded, noting that on her phone. “Do you plan on becoming teachers at the academy once you graduate? That’s what a lot of young heroes do now to keep up their reputation and to build their status within the academy itself.”
Something else I hadn’t considered. “I always wanted to try making a go with my art.”
She leaned in at this. “You’re an artist?”
I nodded. “Yes, I’ve always loved it. I assumed I’d fizzle out as a hero long before I ever got to this point.”
Rosie’s smile was comforting. There was something about her presence that didn’t set me on edge like the last two agents we had met with. “You underestimate yourself, Max. You’re a good looking young man, and your look is iconic. The red and white, the sleekness of it. You and Spite were built for this. But tell me more about your art. What do you like to do?”
“He’s good!” Spite interjected. “He does all sorts of stuff!”
“I sometimes work with Professor Urata, do you know him?” I asked.
Rosie nodded. “Former hero turned teacher, I’m aware of him.”
“Well, he’s been helping me a lot.” I reached for my bag and pulled out my art book. “I started using paints recently, but I like working with charcoal and stuff like that.”
Rosie opened my sketchbook, which featured a lot of drawings of Eli and Spite. “So you and Sunstone are a couple,” she murmured. “I thought it was just a rumor.”
My cheeks heated up again. “Is that a problem?”
“Not to me.” She looked at me and smiled. “You’ve got some good work here. Have you ever thought about doing a gallery?”
My heart pulsed. “Not really.”
Rosie stood up with my sketch book in her hand. “I think it would be a hit! Everyone would jump at the chance to see one of today’s top heroes put on an art show. Do you know any other of your peers who do art as well? We could make a big event of it.”
“I don’t know,” I muttered.
“Do it,” Spite said to me. “You’re good! And this could be a big shot for you.”
“The peppermint gets it!” Rosie held up her hand and Spite high fived it. “I can start planning it out. It would be perfect for your image and show the world you’re both more than a toilet mounted, hyper active, gremlin.”
“Gremlin?” Spite hissed.
I nodded. “Let me think about it. It would be a lot of work, and it’s our final semester at the academy.”
Rosie nodded. “I understand. I’ll start seeing what it takes and I can report back to you what I find.” She held her hand out to me again. “I’d love to work with you, Max. I think you have amazing potential.”
I smiled and took her hand, shaking it firmly. “I’d like to work with you too.”
“Me too!” Spite cheered. “You’re not gross or creepy.”
Rosie winked. “I try.” She led us to the door then handed me back my sketch book. “I’ll be in touch, Max. Spite, behave yourself for me.”
Spite snickered. “For you Rosie, I can only make promises.”
Rosie waved goodbye as we went down the hallway back towards the elevator. Once the doors closed I slouched and exhaled loudly. “I was so nervous.”
“I couldn’t tell the way your ass was sweating.” Spite lifted up from the tie and plopped himself on top of my head.
I tugged at the tie, loosening it so I could feel like I could breathe. “I can’t believe she wants to do an art show, especially after seeing my sketch book.”
Spite sniffed. “What are you talking about? I showed her your art because you’re great at it. I want you to continue pursuing it.”
My heart hammered faster. “You’re not just saying that?”
“I don’t just say anything, Maxie baby.” Spite lowered down into my face. “I may be an asshole, and I may put myself in your asshole, but I only want you to succeed and be happy.”
I smiled and leaned in for a kiss as the doors opened. A few people were standing there so I quickly made a beeline for the door.
“Call Eli.” Spite put the phone up against my face. “He’ll be excited to hear the good news.”
I stopped on the street to dial, leaning up against the side of a building. As the phone rang I smelled something amazingly delicious. I looked up at the bakery behind me and my stomach growled.
“We never ate,” I murmured.
Spite smeared his face against the window. “This place seems to have food. I could be wrong though.”
“Hey!” Eli answered as I was looking inside. “Are you heading home? How did the meeting go?”
“It went really well. I think Spite likes this new agent, so she may stick around for a while.” I leaned back against the building while Spite continued to rub up against the window.
“That’s good at least, was he behaved?”
I smiled. “As well as he could be. I think he’s just looking out for me.”
“He’s good at that. So, what are you wearing” Eli teased.
I smirked and rubbed the back of my neck. “You know what I’m wearing. You have pictures.”
“It’s my new phone background too.”
My cheeks felt so heated. “You’re driving me crazy, baby. I’ll be home shortly, I’m just going to get something to eat at this bakery real quick.”
“Take your time. I got busy with something at the house so my hands are busy, for now. Happy anniversary, Max.”
Between Spite and Eli I think my heart will probably burst one day. “Thanks. I’ll bring you a treat home.”
“Just your dick is good enough for me.”
I cupped my hand around my face as I laughed. “Stop! I’m in public!”
“Oh fine. I’ll let you eat. Love you.”
“Love you too.” I hung up then saw Spite was having a staring match with the person inside the bakery.
I peeled him off the window and went inside. “So sorry!”
“I’m just glad I don’t have to wash the window again,” they said.
I made an order at the counter, getting myself a pretty indulgent sandwich as well as picking up a huge chocolate cake to take home. I sat outside on a small brick wall as I ate, watching the sky and hearing the sounds of the academy near by.
“You never answered her question,” Spite spoke uncharacteristically soft.
“Hmm?” I wiped at my mouth. “What question?”
Spite’s head was tilted up towards the sky. “What do you plan to do in the future?”
I shrugged. “It’s weird, I never really thought about it. Nothing has gone the way I expected it to. It never occurred to me to plan for something.”
Spite’s eyes reflected the clouds above him. “Do you want to stay with me forever?”
“What sort of question is that? Of course I do!”
Spite turned towards me, nuzzling back close to my shoulder. “It’s a realistic one, Max. There may come a day we drift apart. Maybe one day we’ll hate one another. You think ‘your’ life hasn’t gone as planned. I’m supposed to be a diplomat! I never expected this. I never planned for you.”
I lowered my food down to my lap as my heart sank into my stomach. “Do you think we will separate one day?”
Spite shook his head. “As long as you want me, I want you. I will always want you.”
“I know it’s realistic to plan ahead, to think of a time where we could be separated. But I don’t think that will happen. Not against my will anyways.”
Spite smile up at me.
“You changed my life, I’ll never not be grateful to you.” I kissed the top of his head and nuzzled it. “I may not have definite plans for the future. But I know you’re in it.”
He smirked proudly. “Good. because you’re in mine.”
