Valac the Demon: Part Two (rough draft)
Added 2022-07-13 20:00:04 +0000 UTCDuring your shift, if you are able, you go around to the animatronics around the Magician’s Treasure Tower, inspecting them of any signs of demon possession. Perhaps the dragon is the only one and he’s just an irritating accident, but your gut feeling since meeting Valac has said otherwise.
There’s a karaoke bar in the music room where there’s a vampire bat animatronic that’s also a karaoke machine. It’s one of the few animatronics with actual vocal functions and can sing back up to the person performing the karaoke.
Then there’s the minotaur in the book room. He wanders around the dozens of ceiling high shelves and presents rewards to people who find him. He’s actually your favorite, but now you’re even questioning him.
There’s a naga animatronic in the game room whose tail serves as a charging port for electronics and sometimes serves snacks during competitions. It is one of the more complex of the animatronics, and would have been your first guess for being possessed.
Valac, on the other hand put on shows regularly in the toy room. Considering lots of kids came through, he would growl and snarl at them, as well as control lights upon the stage. There was a performer who was the knight who would fight him, and sometimes the princess would sing a special song to put him to sleep on certain days.
You really wished you could sing so you could put Valac to sleep.
“Stop bringing me these stupid buckets!” Valac waved the tub of cotton candy you had brought him above your head. “I told you last time they’re too small for me, and you never bring me enough.”
“And like I’ve told you before: no! They turn off the equipment downstairs and have them all cleaned each day. I’m not risking my ass further to make you fresh cotton candy then have to worry about cleaning that machine every dang night. Be grateful I’m bringing you these. They’re just as good and there are a bunch of different flavors.”
Valac grumbled under his breath and popped open the lid. “This is barely a mouthful. And you didn’t bring the watermelon.”
You held up your bag and shook it. “I have more you fucking baby. But I’m not giving you any until you answer some of my questions.”
“I don’t know why you even care about it.” He shoved cotton candy into his jowls. “It’s none of your business really.”
You rolled your eyes. “You made it my business. And you’ve been avoiding answering anything at all the past week. So if you want to bitch and moan then stop asking me to bring you candy every day.”
He didn’t consider that option long. “I’ve been without long enough! I took a risk talking to you anyways. You should be flattered.”
You made a mouth with your hand and flapped it to mock him. “I should be put in a padded room for putting up with you as long as I have. I know you’re a demon and not a powerful one from what I’ve gathered.”
He flinched and snarled low in his throat. “What’s powerful to a human? Most humans don’t even know how to gain power outside of money!”
You snickered at him. “Obviously you don’t have that either.”
He chucked that cotton candy bucket at you, but you caught it. “You have no idea whose side I am on, little girl.”
“You said Astaroth the other night, so I’m assuming him.”
Valac leaned his head back, trying to do an intimidating glare upon you. “You have no idea what power is, so you can’t even imagine what he could do.”
You shrugged. “I sometimes can’t imagine another day, so fair is fair.” You took a seat upon the stage and pulled an energy drink from your backpack. “So, why are you here?”
Valac’s eyes darted away. “Why not?”
“If you’re hiding from something, I get it. But why…this.” You waved your hand around then brought the sticky sweet drink to your lips.
Valac huffed and smoke came out of his nostrils. “Why does it matter?”
You set your drink down on the stage. “It’s a glorified toy store. Aren’t demons a bit more glamorous than that? If you’re hiding from something I get it.”
Valac was trying to skirt the answer, you could tell that. But you also knew he was going to be wanting the rest of that cotton candy you had in your backpack. Hence why it was in your lap rather than somewhere he could snatch it.
“Look, it’s a lot to unpack, and I don’t think a mere human being like yourself could even comprehend what it all is. Your squishy little mind couldn’t even fathom my actual form. So what’s the point of trying to explain our reasoning for being here?” He turned around dramatically, whipping his tail so it rapt against the wall.
“Did you choose to look like a dragon because it would be cool?” You teased him.
“I didn’t choose shit!” Valac went to shove a display but stopped himself. He came back towards you and stole your energy drink off the stage. “We pulled straws.”
“We?”
Valac glared at you as he drank, crushing the aluminum can in his hand then tossing it over his shoulder amongst the shelves of toys. “You’re so smart, surely you’ve put it all together. The other animatronics. We’re all fucking demons.”
You nodded. “Well, that answers my other question. Now you owe me for the drink.”
Valac’s eyes focused upon your backpack. “Are you gonna ask me to put out next? Just give me the-”
You yanked your bag back. “Fine. I’ll just leave.” You slipped off the stage and headed towards the door.
“Wait!” Valac came after you. “What about the cotton candy?”
“You got some. Be grateful.” You huffed. “I’m not sticking around if you’re going to be acting like a brat the whole time. I have friends that do that for free.”
Valac scoffed. “Okay fine. Fine!” His wings flapped and he pointed back to the stage. “Come back inside. I’ll tell you…some stuff. Not everything.”
You followed him back inside, handing him another tub of cotton candy, which he picked at this time to make it last.
“Okay, so obviously you know demons exist now. Right? Well, it’s bigger than that. There’s a whole system of royals and nobles and politicians amongst the demons that decides the pecking order and who does what and who rules who.” He looked down into the bucket, and once again that sparkling animatronic veneer looked almost real.
“Well that’s all gone to shit. Demon’s are leaving one by one, and the pecking order has become a blood bath. Those who want to be the king of hell are staying and going to war, while there are others who have left and are seeking refuge either here or somewhere in the underneath.”
“Underneath what?” You asked.
“Not what, the underneath. It’s a place. Something else a silly little girl like you would never be able to understand.” He put a pinch of cotton candy into his mouth.
You didn’t really want to press farther anyways. Learning there was a demon war was enough. “So you’re here because of a demon war? Why the toy store then?”
Valac looked you up and down. “Because there are others up here, and sometimes being out in the open is the safest place to be.”
“Others?”
Valac handed you the empty cotton candy bucket. “That’s it for today. Storytime is over. My patience is done. Take care now. Bye bye then.” He jumped up onto the stage and walked in the back where he became hidden in the shadows.
You waited for a moment before you got up and left. You actually just ran from the building, afraid to run into any of the other demons that lived within the Magician's Magic Tower. And by process of elimination, you could only guess who the real owner was now.
The next day at work was pretty busy, there were a few big launches coming out the following day, so stock and prep was of the utmost importance that evening. Most of the staff stayed a few extra hours to prepare them, as well as a special viewing party and board game competition that was going on.
You were in the dragon’s den, stocking the new releases. Your other coworker went back to get more stock, so you weren’t surprised to hear Valac whispering to you once they were gone.
“Psst, little girl.”
You sighed and tried to finish off the last box before the rest came.
“Hey,” Valac snarled. “Hey!”
“I can hear you,” you huffed.
Valac came crawling out of the shadows of the stage. He slid across the stage then jutted out his hand towards you. “Come here,” he waved for you.
“Can’t you see I’m working?” You continued putting toy boxes onto the shelf.
Valac hopped off the stage. “I’m bored!”
You glanced towards the door then glared back at him. “Get back up there before someone else sees you! I’m okay being tortured by you, but I am not letting anyone else have this burden!”
“Aww, you’re possessive of me.” He growled in his throat. “I like that in a woman.”
“That’s not what is going on you dumb lizard!” You shoved him back towards the stage. “Get back up there!” You try forcing him on stage.
“Do you have any candy on you?” He playfully searched your pockets but you keep slapping his hands.
“Stop touching there! That’s not for you!” You hissed at him.
You then heard the squeaking of the dolly as it approached. You kept slapping Valac but he pulled you up on stage and into the shadows with him. He cupped his hand around your mouth as he pulled you into the darkness and behind the black stage curtains.
You struggled against him, but he held you there with a chuckle in his throat. You could hear the other coworker going on about business as normal, opening boxes with a razor, setting things upon the shelf, the dull thud of their headphones.
“Shh,” Valac whispered into your ear. “Just stay here a second.”
You shoved his hand away. “What in the hell do you think you’re doing?” You hissed at him.
“I was bored. I told you. I’ve come to enjoy your little late night visits.” He peered out from behind the curtain. “Besides, they’ve got their headphones on anyways. They won’t even notice you’re gone.”
“Yes they will. I was there and then I wasn’t?”
“You probably just went to the bathroom, it’s fine.” Valac’s eyes glowed golden in the dark, casting candle-like shadows around you. “They aren’t going to care in the long run.”
“You can’t just snatch people like that. Let alone search my pockets!” You smacked his hand as he came close again.
“Come on, admit it, you were getting tired of working anyways.” Valac’s long tail swished behind him. “And if you don’t have any candy for me, then what do you have for me?”
You glared at him.
Valac’s tongue licked along his sharp teeth. “Come on, we have fun.”
“You call what we do fun?”
Valac nodded. “Yeah! You’re funny, I’m charming. We make a delightful pair.” His tail swished behind him.
“Okay…” You adjusted your sitting position a bit. “So this hasn’t been just about you getting candy?”
“Don’t get cocky now.”
“Oh wow, we’re friends,” you said quietly. “Oh my god we’re friends!” You said a bit louder.
Valac tapped his finger over his mouth. “They may still have headphones on, but you’ll need to keep your voice down.”
“I should go back to work then.” You stood and headed for the curtains but Valac grabbed you from behind.
“No. Stay! Please?” Valac pouted and lifted you off the floor. “I’ll make it worth your while.”
“You’ve never done that.”
“Oh yes I have.” Valac carried you back into the shadows. “What if I stopped asking you to bring me candy?” He set you down again.
“I’d think something was wrong.” You tried to look around, but everything was barely lit from the light in his eyes.
“What if I asked for something else?”
You looked him up and down. “What are you getting at?”
Valac pulled up a chair for you. “You see, now that we’re friends, I figured we could come to a place where I scratch your back and you scratch mine.”
You took the seat and crossed your arms against your chest. “Isn’t that what we’re doing, Valac?”
“Something different,” he huffed. “Something a little more mutual.”
You sighed and pressed your fingers against your temple. “Are you asking to be friends with benefits?”
“How’d you guess that?” He exclaimed.
“I’ve had a few former acquaintances try to pull that shit simply because I’m plus size. Why the hell are you trying to pull the same thing?”
Valac frowned and tilted his head to the side. He took a deep breath as if he was going to say the most important words of his life. “Demons are not built for celibacy. And since coming into this toy store it’s been nothing but! I’m desperate here.”
You shook your head. “That’s exactly what a lady wants to hear.”
Valac’s tail twitched. “I feel comfortable enough telling you that! You’d think I’d just say that out loud to anyone? I like you, that’s why I’m asking.”
“Okay high school.”
Valac cupped his hand around your mouth to keep you quiet. “Look here, girl. I’m asking you this nicely because I’ve grown to adore our time together. And I’m not good at showing my affection for people outside a good old fashioned orgasm. Do you understand?”
It was a bit of a shock, but you nodded.
“Okay, so stay quiet. Let me tell you a few things so you can understand where I am coming from. First off, yes I like you, you piss me off and make me laugh. I like that in a woman. Second, you’ve not said a word to anyone. You’ve kept me a secret and I greatly appreciate that. Big risks come with big rewards, and I have a doozy of a reward for you.”
You pushed his hand aside. “You sound so sure I’ll agree to this little…tryst. What makes you think so?”
Valac leaned in close to you. “You’re lonely too, right? Why else would you risk hanging out with a demon?”
You looked away. “Low blow.”
“I know.” Valac cupped your cheek. “I only asked because I knew you’d be honest with me, and I like that about you too. So, would you be up for it?”
You pinched your thighs together and tried to keep your expression fierce. “What exactly would I be up for?”
Valac chuckled and leaned in close to you, bracing his clawed hands upon the arms of the chair. “How about I bite the buttons off that ridiculous uniform? One by one until they’re all scattered on the floor? Then I can nibble and bite all I want, or until you beg me to stop.”
You gulped and nodded. “Okay. Not bad.”
“Then, I’ll see just where I stand with you. Because what’s between your legs doesn’t lie now, does it? If I find myself a treasure, I’m going to take it.” He brushed aside your hair and you could feel his hot breath against your skin. “But you’ll have to be quiet since your little friend is still out there. They won’t know how hard you’re getting it. How good it feels. Because trust me, with a demon, it’s always too good.”
You swallowed again and glanced towards the curtains. “Not while someone is here. You can’t be that hard up.”
“I am,” he growled. “Are you?”
You looked into his eyes and that signaled your downfall. His kiss was waiting and his sharp teeth nipped at your bottom lip. He licked down your neck with a long, wet tongue that came from the depths of his mouth. He plucked the first button, then the second, spitting them down onto the ground a ringing clatter.
He lifted his head back up, kissing you again as his claws went down your chest. “You don’t seem too worried now, girl.”
You touched your warm cheek. “It’s weird you call me girl.”
“You like it.” he whipped your belt off and cracked it in the air, going still to listen if that coworker noticed anything. When the coast was clear, he tugged off your pants and tossed them aside.
“Won’t be needing those.” He pulled you out of the chair and lifted you up in his arms, carrying you to a wall where he pressed your back. He kissed again and dragged his hands down your sides.
“It’s been so long,” he moaned.
“Yeah!” You panted.
Valac chuckled against your skin, as he adjusted your hips so he could press against you. He looked down then back into your eyes. “What am I going to find waiting on me?” He licked his fingertips then reached down between the two of you. His long, hard fingers dipped down inside your panties and he started a very short search. You fidgeted, panting softly as his fingertips found the treasure he wanted.
“Good. You behaved for me for once.” He pushed your underwear aside and he slipped up along your slit. “But you knew you wanted this reward. Even if you don’t care to admit it.”
“Shut the hell up and stop playing around,” you huffed.
“Don’t be too eager. We don’t want this to end too soon.” He glanced over his shoulder. “We need to take this nice and slow and enjoy ourselves.”
You smacked his cheek playfully. “You don’t have the balls.”
He sneered at you. “You’ll regret that, girl.”
You smacked him again. “Do it, you big chicken.”
He snapped his teeth in your face. “Keep trying me, girl. I’ll show you just how big I am.” He pulled his hips back and slid into place. He glided inside, and you let out a loud cry that made him cup his hand over your mouth. He looked back while you were trying to comprehend what he just put inside you.
“I told you to be quiet,” Valac hissed. “I know it’s good. But I haven’t even done anything yet.”
You gripped your hands into his shoulders, which now felt more like flesh than metal. “Fucking hell!”
Valac laughed. “You are.”
You took a few breaths before he started to move. He rolled his hips, going back then aiming upwards to press inside you.
“There now, isn’t this nice?” He growled. “Do you like it?”
You were still trying to wrap your mind around what he was packing. He felt curved and thick, but there were ridges and textures you couldn’t quite explain.
“You needed this just as much as I did,” he moaned. “Don’t worry. I won’t let you be lonely again.”
“Be quiet,” you huffed.
“I don’t think you want me to,” he growled. “You get wetter every time I open my mouth. You’re practically begging for me.”
You wrapped your arms around his neck, pressing in closer.
“Want me to lay you down?” Valac moved you from the wall and laid you down upon a bed that was used as a prop. He looked down upon you, stretching out his wings that had become a pale white in the shadows. His eyes glowed red, and there seemed to be five of them.
“Don’t-” You gasped.
Valack chuckled. “Oh? Don’t what?”
You bit your lip, cursing you’d say anything. “Don’t stop.”
Valac laid upon you, pressing kisses to your face and neck. He opened you up again, pressing inside and moaning into your ear.
“Good girl,” he breathed. “Admit it, you’re loving this aren’t you?”
You grabbed hold of him and forced him down. “Just fuck me,” you huffed.
“As you wish,” he snarled. He cupped his hand over your mouth and from there it was all you could do to keep hold. He dragged it on too, not giving you a moment to think or breathe. He took over your senses, filling your mind with white fog as you focused upon that deep, powerful pleasure.
“Where the fuck did she go?”
Valac went still and stiff. The voice of your coworker snapped you back to your senses and you followed his gaze to the curtain. Valac’s hips moved again, thrusting slowly inside you. Through the curtains you could see the coworker looking around. They walked about the front of the stage, all the while Valac was starting to move faster and harder.
You glared at him, grabbed hold of his wrist. Valac grinned, licking his chops as you felt a tremble go through your body.
“This is bullshit,” the coworker huffed.
“I feel it,” Valac breathed into your ear. “Let go. Let me give it to you.”
Your grip around his wrist tightened and your back curled up off the bed. Valac’s hips shuddered and he pressed in deeper, choking on his own breath as your eyes rolled into the back of your head.
“Fuck it,” the cowroker huffed and they left the room.
You whimpered and shook, unsure if your legs had launched from your body or not. It was quiet for a long moment. Valac breathed and struggled to move his body. He pulled back and gazed down at you. His dark, red eyes focused then blurred in your vision. Closing your eyes you sunk into the bed and relaxed.
Valac chuckled. “That was close.” he moved his hand away from your mouth and licked your lips. “How are you doing down there, buddy?”
“Okay I guess.”
Valad laughed, kissing you and adjusting your legs. “Don’t lie to me. I like it when you’re honest.”
You breathed softly. “I don’t want to inflate your ego.”
“Oh do it.” He kissed your cheek and nipped. “That's all part of the fun.”
