Hello everyone! I've gathered a lot of news for you. This time, not just about the Golden Coast Saga, but also about other projects and my personal life. So, I recommend getting ready for a long read

What will be in the Golden Coast Saga update 0.5.4?

As you know, the Golden Coast Saga is being revamped. It's steadily catching up with all the content from the old 0.4 version. I've restored and even expanded the storyline with Emilia, Pamela, and Mrs. Wilson, and added new storylines with Carolyne and the Literary Club that weren't in the old version of the game

In the upcoming update 0.5.4, as you might guess, there will be a story with Hailey. It will also undergo some plot changes (which I believe are for the better) and receive new visuals. The update will feature many new characters, including Gina, whom you already know, as well as some new faces. Events will take place in a new location, which has already been added to the game - the Peaky Paws Pub. I hope you'll like what I've come up with there (I worked really hard on it!)

The update is tentatively scheduled for release at the end of October or the beginning of November

What's happening with Kiss My Camera?

If you didn't know, I'll remind you - since spring, I've been working on Alex Crime's game Kiss My Camera. I'm writing character dialogue scripts, directing animations, and overseeing the creation of visuals. What you've already seen in update 0.1 of this game was developed in collaboration with me. I'm very glad that Alex approves of my involvement in the project and gives me creative freedom. I really enjoy seeing what this game is becoming! I have many ideas for how to improve Kiss My Camera, and I'll continue working on it

The main plot for Kiss My Camera's update 0.2 has already been written. The artists are working on the visuals, particularly new characters, outfits, locations, and art. Soon you'll see Tracer as a journalist, Ahri and Harley Quinn as celebrities invited to a fancy event, and Katara working as a beach lifeguard. The list of new characters may grow

Attention will be given to the main storyline - the protagonist will advance further in his career. He's in for an exciting adventure, as well as a plot twist that is sure to surprise. But I won't spoil too much

The update is expected around the beginning of next month

Any other interesting plans?

Yes, there's more. I mentioned before that I'm planning to release a new game around fall. I had long-standing drafts of an intriguing fantasy universe with humans. But this concept still seems too raw to me and requires significant investment, which I currently cannot afford. Nevertheless, I have other game ideas. For example, those that would describe events from the same universe as the Golden Coast Saga. I can handle something like that, and developing such a game won't take too much time

One potential concept that might be released is a visual novel about a young chef who ends up in a fancy French restaurant. The novel is likely set in France, somewhere in the suburbs of Paris. Besides dating girls, the protagonist must climb the career ladder, ultimately owning the restaurant and earning a Michelin star. And of course, the game will feature furries (since it's set in the same universe as the Golden Coast Saga)

This is just one of the ideas, currently the most likely one. I'll try to keep you updated on the development of this game. It will probably be available on a separate Patreon. But it's too early to confirm anything

I also have a long-standing dream of creating a cartoon. I'm a bit hesitant to say anything specific about it right now, as there's still much to resolve before starting actual development. But I do have such plans and am thinking in that direction. As soon as there are any news, I'll let you know. At least, feedback from you on this matter would be appreciated

By the way, remember the Webcam game from the Golden Coast universe? It had only one update, with Hailey. Well, I'm canceling this project. The game will no longer be available on Itch. For some, this might be sad news, if they enjoyed those raunchy streams. But frankly, I always had doubts about this concept. I like creating big games, with lots of characters, locations, storylines. Not these blatantly explicit simulators. At some point, I just felt that I didn't want to waste my time on it anymore. So the reason for stopping Webcam development is my lack of interest and its contradiction to the overall universe concept, which is valuable to me. For me, this was an experiment I really wanted to try. I hope you won't be too upset and will continue to love my universe and other games

What's happening in my life?

Those who follow me on Discord or Twitter know that I've been going through tough times in recent months. I hadn't shared any details before, but now I want to lift the veil of secrecy a bit. I think it will make me feel better and help you understand

I've been in a depressive state caused by severe stress and changes in my personal life. Alex Crime and I, as you know, have been in a relationship for a long time. We shared a lot, including challenges like living in exile, endless relocations, and a joint business. There were many good and difficult times that we, unfortunately, couldn't resolve. For various reasons, this relationship has ended. Alex and I are no longer together. It took me some time to be able to talk about it calmly. I'm now recovering, returning to work, and finally starting to make plans for the future. But I still feel vulnerable and fragile. It would be nice to receive words of support from you, as I rarely share personal issues

Alex and I will continue working together and communicating as professional partners. As mentioned above, I'll still be working on the storyline for his game Kiss My Camera. So our personal issues won't affect game development

And I want to mention something else. It hurts me to hear jokes about Alex allegedly hiding behind the development of the Golden Coast Saga. That's not true. This is especially hurtful for me to hear right now, as I'm in a vulnerable state. Please don't make such jokes (or Hailey and her gang might find you, hehe)
