CYOA Chapter Ten: Grocery Shopping
Added 2022-01-25 15:15:28 +0000 UTCAs a kid, you had moved around a lot because of your mother’s job. You had seen a lot of towns and a lot of places in your lifetime. Some had seemed like photocopies of towns before, and some had their own unique charm to them. Hearthway Hollow had a charm all it’s own, and not just because it was a safe haven for werewolves and other monsters.
During your relationship with Luke, it was one of the first times you didn’t have to move around. You’d been living in your apartment for a while by then and your writing was just starting to take off online, but you were working in this old fashioned grocery store that was only surviving because the older folks were refusing to go to the new super center that had been built.
“It’s an eyesore,” Luke said. He sat down on your sofa with a box of takeout in hand. You had been seeing each other for a few weeks at this point, and you were just starting to get comfortable around one another.
“What happened to keeping a town cute and stuff?” He huffed, shoveling lo mein into his mouth.
You shrugged, bringing two opened beers as you sat beside him. “That’s normal.”
He gave you an eye. “Not where I’m from.”
You smirked at him, placing the cold beer bottle into his hand. “I’ve lived in more places than you. Trust me, it’s normal.”
Luke scoffed and leaned back into the sofa. “They’ll end up regretting it. Mark my words.”
You leaned forward, picking up a box of takeout. “You’ve never mentioned your home town before. I’d like to know more about it.”
“Eh, it’s not as interesting as you are. All the towns you’ve been to, all your stories. That one town with clowns,” he said with a laugh.
You rolled your eyes as you poked at beef and broccoli. “Those are my stories. I’d like to hear yours.”
Luke sighed and shrugged. “I dunno what stories I do have. My little town was pretty quiet, pretty boring. Like Mayberry.”
You furrowed your brow. “What’s Mayberry?”
He looked suddenly shocked and a little disgusted. “You’ve never seen Andy Griffith? Barney Fife? Gomer Pyle?”
You shook your head. “We barely had a TV growing up. You know I’m not educated,” you teased him.
Luke rolled his eyes. “Well, it’s a small ass town, kind of comfortable in its old ways.” He picked up another box of take out to open. “I had a pretty good childhood until my mom died.”
You looked at him shocked. “Your mom-”
He got a look on his face, realizing what he had just said. “I didn’t mean to turn this into a bummer,” he murmured. “Yeah uhm-” he sat up stiff in his seat and rubbed his hand along his thighs. “I was like…ten or so. It was a real shock.” His eyes brimmed with tears as he tried to put all his thoughts into order. “It was a hunting accident. She got shot while my dad and I were off doing our own thing.” He cleared his throat and sniffled.
You put your hand over his. “Oh my god, Luke-”
He shook his head. “My dad was never right after that. I spent a lot of time with my cousin Adam and his family. I lived with them for a while, and an old family friend took me sometimes too.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?” You asked. “You know I’d understand this.”
Luke blinked and tears rolled down his cheek. “I have a hard time opening up. Especially about things like this…things I see as my fault.”
You squeezed his hand tight. “What happened to your mom wasn’t your fault. You know that right?”
Luke smiled softly as more tears rolled down his face. “I know. But those dark thoughts are hard to ward off at my weakest. When I feel things are my fault I seal up tight. I keep the blame all to myself so no one else around me has to suffer it. You know?” He sat up and sniffled, using a napkin to wipe up his face.
You gave him a strong hug, letting him rest his head upon your shoulder. “Do you want to talk more about it?” You asked. “Do you wanna tell me about your mom?”
Luke’s smile was sad. “Her name was Ameila, and she was a teacher at the elementary school. I remember all my friends used to all talk about how they had a crush on her,” he started laughing.
You smiled as he talked, listening to everything he could remember about her. You started getting closer that night, and you felt like this could be it for you. Luke stayed the night for the first time that night as well. The two of you had fooled around before, but you had both agreed to take it slow since you started off as a one night stand.
But that night was different. Luke made you feel different. It was a hard night to forget, and one you had turned to during all your doubts and internal struggles about leaving.
It felt so strange to be in his hometown now as you recalled that night. You then wondered if Luke’s father was still around.
“Here’s the grocery store.” Evander’s voice pulled you from your thoughts.
The grocery store looked old from the outside, but inside it looked brand spanking new. Evander grabbed a cart while you looked at a display of soda you’d never heard of called Cheerwine.
“You seem deep in thought. I can throw you a rope to pull you out,” Evander said with a chuckle.
“I may need more than a rope,” you huffed. “Demons, sex gods, talking goats, oh my. I’m in over my head at this point.”
You walked down the produce aisle where Evander examined packages of strawberries. “I thought you said you knew about these things?”
“Yeah, as friends. The carnival was different from this. I never knew I was a child of Pan and that my libido was a serious threat.” You clammed up as people walked past you.
Evander loaded the cart with multiple strawberry packages. “Has it ever gotten you in trouble before?”
Your face went flaming hot and Evander saw the change in shade. “Noted.” he was holding back and trying not to laugh.
“But that was never anything like…life altering. This is life altering to me? My mom never said a word, neither did Uncle Authaire. And Luke-” You sucked your lips in and frowned. “I just want to yell at all of them at the same time.”
“Smell this.” Evander held a cantaloupe towards you. “Does it smell good?”
You sniffed. “Yeah, really sweet.”
“Good.” He set it into the cart. “I know you’re frustrated, maybe even scared, but you were always safe before. Right? Your mother, your uncle, even Luke protected you, right?”
“Yeah,” you grumbled.
“Your father never mattered before, did he?” Evander added.
You shook your head. “No.”
“Because he never did. From what I can tell, Pan was a piece of shit. And from what I’ve gotten to know, you’re pretty great. You got a good head on your shoulders, your a talented author, and you have some common sense to you. Right?”
You looked aside them back up at him. “I think so.”
“Are you proud of your decisions?” he asked.
“Most of the time.”
Evander then turned to face you. “And when you have had sex, wild libido included, have you ever regretted it? Better yet, has it always been consensual?”
“Sometimes I’m annoyed by it. But yeah, it’s always been consensual.” You fidget with your fingers. “Do we have to talk about this here? Right next to the blueberries?”
Evander’s smile grew. “You don’t need to yell at your mom or whoever for this. Just talk to them. I’m sure they have their reasons.”
You pouted and walked along with Evander towards the next aisle. “I guess.”
“Take your time.” Evander patted your back. “You don’t have to move these mountains all at once.”
You smiled up at him and inched a little closer. “I know this is bad of me, and part of why I’m questioning my sanity, but I’d really like to show my appreciation when we’re alone.” Your hand brushed up against his rear. “If that’s okay with you?”
Evander sputtered and cleared his throat. “Nuh-not at all. I mean…what did you have in mind?”
You looked around, making sure no one was close enough to hear. “I was thinking, in your truck I could-”
“A little road head for the bull?”
You nearly screamed at how close Ebal suddenly was. You would have slapped him but Evander caught you in time.
“What the hell?” You hissed at him.
Ebal raised his hands up. “I come in peace, I swear.”
Evaner glared down at him. “What are you doing here?”
“What? A demon can’t grocery shop like the rest of them?” He smirked as he looked over the two of you. “I get hungry too, don’t I?”
You glared at him then scoffed. “I’m not sure I’m ready to…feed you, of all people, just yet.”
“I don’t need you to hand feed me,” Ebal said with a smirk. “Even though that’s my preferred method. Just let me near you and Bodacious here while you do the deed.”
Evander grunted but remained quiet.
“Please,” Ebal said in earnest. “I missed out on you and Mero yesterday. I’m starving here and I keep getting whiffs of it all over my own home.”
Your cheeks burned again.
“Mero?” Evander asked. “You were busy yesterday.”
You grimaced at Ebal. “If we let you in on this, will you leave me alone for a while? Because I’m sick of your face!”
Ebal bounced excitedly. “You won’t regret this I swear! Just one good feeding off the two of you, and I’ll be set for a couple of days.”
“A couple?” You whined. “What will it take to get you to leave me alone for a week or more?”
Ebal licked his lips. “Hand feeding me would buy you lots of time. I bet Bodacious here is a mouthful, I can help you swallow.”
That turned you in a way you didn’t expect. “I don’t know-”
“Look, it’s okay,” Evander said with a stern tone. “If it gets him to behave for a while, I’m fine with helping.”
Ebal’s eyes brightened as he looked up at Evander. “Aren’t you a sweetheart. No wonder everyone likes you best.”
“What?” Evander scoffed.
“Can you at least act normal while we’re here? You can do whatever weird shit you want once we’re somewhere private.” You turned with Evander and Ebal followed close behind.
Once you were done in the grocery store the three of you piled into Evander’s truck. As Evander drove away, you sat there still and quiet. You were incredibly aroused, but you weren’t going to give in.
“Don’t be shy just because I’m here,” Ebal whispered into your ear. “I know you’re craving something big and meaty. Just take it.”
“Leave her be.” Evander’s own face was bright red.
“I can sense what you want,” Ebal moaned. “You tried to not think about it, but it’s all you can think about. I know how it is. Once you get it good, you never stop wanting it.”
You brushed him off. “You can’t touch me while I do this.”
“Are you really?” Evander jolted.
You placed your palm into his lap, rubbing what already felt like a half hard cock. “I told you it was annoying.” You unzipped his jeans and tugged down his underwear. You pulled out Evander’s cock like a prize and felt a bit of relief. You dipped down, licking him and kissing his impressive member.
“Fuck, you are loaded,” Ebal moaned.
You took Evander between you lips, sucking him softly. You then lifted back up, turning and kissing Ebal without warning. His lips were still for a moment, then you felt his teeth and tongue and he kissed back.
“I thought I couldn’t touch,” Ebal panted.
“Be quiet or I’ll change my mind.” You placed your hand into Ebal’s lap.
Evander swallowed as he watched from the corner of his eye. He then looked back at the road as he licked his lip.
Ebal kissed you again, dressing close as your palm rubbed against the growing shaft inside his pants. His kiss was electric, stunning you and making your lips go numb.
“Fuck you taste good,” Ebal snarled against your neck. He bit and dragged his tongue down. “I haven’t been fed like this in ages.”
Evander fidgeted in his seat and you turned back to him. You kissed him and pressed your lips to his ear. “How far are we from your place?”
“Almost there,” he laughed. “I’m trying to focus on the road, but it’s hard.”
“I’ll say you are,” Ebal chuckled from his seat.
You dipped back down, licking and kissing Evander’s erect cock. You suckled upon it, taking it back into your mouth and moaning.
You would have loved to have been given a tour of Evander’s place, but as soon as you pulled into his garage it didn’t matter. You were bent over the truck seat while Evander thrust inside you. Ebal sat at your head, watching gleefully as Evander stood in the open door.
“I can’t believe you can take that monster. I’d need so much more foreplay before I could take him.” Ebal rubbed his hands down your back, clawing his nails in as he dragged them back up.
You moaned, huffing and puffing into the seat as Evander drove into you. The mix of hands on your body was almost too much.
“Give me your cock,” you grunted at Ebal. You sat up on your hands. “Lets get this over with.”
Ebal grinned and bright flashing lights surrounded his body. He was naked in an instant and was back in his demonic form. His long, white cock bobbed before you with shimmering precum dribbling from the forked tip.
You took Ebal into your mouth and Evander’s grip on your hips tightened. His thrusts went deeper, making you push forward on Ebal’s shaft. Ebal leaned back, placing his palms behind himself and arching his hips so he went deeper into your throat.
“So good!” Ebal’s tone was whiny and almost cute. “Finally.”
Evander pulled from you, making you a bit irritated. “Get out of the truck,” he growled. “I have something I want to do.”
You slipped from the truck with Ebal behind you. Evander led your into his home, making you both sit on his sofa. He then grabbed Ebal’s hair into his fist.
“Do you want to taste her?” He snarled.
Your eyes widened and Ebal’s lips parted from surprise.
“Bodacious, what’s this?” Ebal’s hands prepared themselves by touching his thighs.
Evander pressed his cock to Ebal’s lips, slowly pushing in as Ebal opened wider. Ebal moaned, closing his eyes as he took a luxurious gulp of Evander’s cock. His hands kneaded into Evander’s thighs like a cat making biscuits.
You watched in awe, touching yourself as Evander began to moan. You dipped down, licking Ebal’s cock while your fingers rubbed your clit. Surges and spikes of cracking energy shot through your body. Something was different this time.
“That’s enough.” Evander pulled himself from Ebal. “I’ve always wanted to see you choke.”
Ebal licked his nips. “I have an even bigger crush on you now, Bodacious.”
Evander returned to you, kissing you as he sat beside you on the couch. “What do you want now?”
“I’m not sure, my head is swimming.”
Ebal came up beside you, replacing your hand with his own. “You’ve got two willing bodies right here. You can do anything?”
You looked into Ebal’s eyes and slowly moved into his lap. You took his cock back inside you and squeezed around him. Ebal whimpered, gasping for breath as you began to move.
“You look pathetic,” Evander teased. “You’re almost cute.”
“Shut up,” Ebal whined.
Evander came up beside you, kissing your neck as you bounced upon Ebal. “How is he? Do you like it?”
“Yeah,” you panted. “I like the curve.”
Evander kissed and stroked your back. “I’m glad.”
After a while you went into Evander’s bedroom. You watched Evander and Ebal kiss and tangle together, eventually joining in with them. You forgot time existed as you went on, taking turns with both of them, and resting as they enjoyed each other.
At one point you lay there with Ebal snuggling to your breast and Evander’s leg aid over your own. You sighed, feeling relieved in the oddest way.
“I’ve not felt like this in ages.” Ebal sniffled and tears began falling from his eyes. “I was so scared.”
“Shh.” Evander reached out and rubbed Ebal’s head. “Stop being cute.”
“He called me cute,” Ebal whimpered.
You closed your eyes and breathed. “I can’t believe how…nice it feels. It’s odd but…I think I like this sort of thing.”
“You’ve never done this before?” Evander asked.
You shook your head. “No. I always had nerves about it.”
Ebal sat up and wiped away the tears on his face. “It’s in your blood.”
Evander scoffed and pulled you into his arms. “As long as you had fun and enjoyed yourself, that’s what matters.”
You sniggled to his chest. “Did you?”
“I’m a bit shocked I did. I liked just about everything.” His eyes raised to Ebal watching the two of you. “That’s what I’m shocked about.”
Ebal grinned. “I always knew you liked me.”
Evander rolled his eyes. “Just rest now. I’m sure you’re tired.”
But you didn’t feel tired, you felt energized. You felt quite powerful.
Later that evening as Evander and Ebal were asleep you got out of bed and went back out to the truck. You got your purse and took your phone out. You looked it over, considering all the things you could, but there was only one thing you wanted.
“I need to talk with you,” you texted first. “When can you come over?”
You saw the dots pop up despite the extremely late hour. “How about Friday?” Luke replied.
You took a deep breath and looked out the window. “Friday is fine.”
“How are you?” Luke asked.
You looked over that question, wondering just how to answer. “I’m doing okay. All things considered, I like it here in Hearthway Hollow.”
