We know the gameplay is next level, it was "the thing" that left a lasting impression on me, not the story. However... like I mention in the intro, have they pushed the narrative more for a cinematic edge, a real story driven experience, what some would call a Hollywood blockbuster game. 2025-05-19 08:39:47 +0000 UTCPlease do indeed cover the Berserk anime. Just make sure you do the Golden Age Trilogy movies or the 1997 anime and not the 2016 anime. Golden Age Trilogy is really good despite not being able to cover everything, and the 97 anime is a classic. Personally I prefer the trilogy but I think most people prefer 97 because of the animation style. But the 2016 anime is just poorly made. So shockingly bad I'm surprised it even got released, the animation looks like bad fan art
